About

Professional Summary

As a member of the Development and Consulting Services Group, I manage ground-up development and tenant improvement projects, and provide real estate consulting services in the academic, multifamily, commercial / corporate, and healthcare sectors. I tend to work with entities that want to own real estate but do not do so as their core business. Most of my clients have a lot of individual pride in their space, whether it is a space they plan to occupy or a space they provide for their customers.  I utilize strategic thinking and problem-solving to meet their individual needs, all while helping them set goals to make the most of the capital they invest in their real estate. From the initial meeting and early planning stages to the final day of move-in, I shepherd my clients through every stage of the process to ensure the final product meets their needs.

My educational and professional experience, combined with my constant financial and economic focus, has prepared me well for my present role. My interest in the real estate industry was sparked at a young age when I renovated Victorian homes in my hometown of Winchester, Massachusetts.  Following graduation from Wentworth Institute of Technology, where I learned the fundamentals of construction management, I began my career as a project management consultant. Several years later, I joined Colliers as a Tenant Improvement Project Manager. I briefly left the firm to earn my master’s degree in real estate development at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and to work for the non-profit Chelsea Neighborhood Developers as a project manager in charge of developing affordable housing. My current tenure at Colliers began in 2010.

Although I continue to grow professionally, my years of experience has well-equipped me to deal with the various obstacles that can arise when working on a project. I am aware that with any project comes unpredictability, but that is the nature of the industry, and learning how to identify and manage uncertainty to realize the long-term goal has allowed me to be successful. I continue to be motivated by my clients’ unique visions and the part I play in providing strategic insights to help them attain their goals.
