With a humanistic and technological training, he has enough skills to manage, evaluate, participate, implement and manage all information of land resources, excelling in land regulation and management, geographic information systems and appraisals. In his academic background he has acquired expertise in urban and rural land management, appraisals, geographic information systems and geomantic tools in order to bring all his skills to the various tasks performed.

With four years of experience in the area of appraisals and territorial management, he has worked in companies of the public and private sectors, highlighting his participation in the Real Estate Census of 2012, conducted by the Special Administrative Unit of District Cadastral (UAECD), as a technician in property and tax identification, fulfilling field and office work in order to determine changes in the physical and legal components of real estate property of the Capital District.
Also, in various companies of the private sector, he has coordinated and executed valuation tasks; first as external appraiser, doing mortgage valuations of urban and rural properties for different banks. Later, he was responsible for the coordination of the Department of Guarantee Control Valuations for the BBVA account, for a private valuation firm, being in charge of external appraisers and managing all the operations to meet the bank´s requirements. In addition, he directed and was part of the team that performed the appraisals of over 80 properties owned by BBVA under the IFRS framework.
Continuing his experience, he was an external appraiser for a private firm and participated in more than 700 property appraisals belonging to the Government of Cundinamarca, where urban and rural properties such as schools, health centers, water resources, forest reserves, and lots of land were valuated.
In addition, he was a senior appraiser for a valuation firm, where he made more than 500 appraisals, highlighting the real estate portfolios of Davivienda and Caja Social banks, aside from special valuations such as warehouses, land, retail, cultural assets, farms and hotels.
He currently serves as a Consultant in the Valuation and Advisory Services Department for one of the leading companies in the sector, being responsible for advisory, quotations and execution of individual customer requirements.
