Gonzalo is a Associate Director Corporate Finance Department at Colliers International. He joined Irea Corporate Finance in 2011, and in March 2018 he joined Colliers International.
Since he joined irea he specialises in the valuation and sale and purchase of assets and companies, financial advisory services, strategic planning and in complex financial restructurings, having been directly involved in the restructuring of over € 3,000M€. Notable achievements include working with Via Celere in his acquisition by Varde Partners.
He also has extensive experience in the analysis and valuation of debt portfolios secured by real estate assets, including both PLs (Performing Loans) and NPLs (Non-Performing Loans), providing both buy and sell side advisory on transactions valued at over €6,000 million.
He began his career as an Analyst in the Auditing division of Deloitte.
Notable achievements include working on Portfolio Debt Transactions as ( Octopus, Agatha, Tower, Macarena, Citrus, Edificios Madrid, Jaipur , Inés, Ágora and Adra) and M&A transactions as Vía Celere and Project Alpes.
He holds a Bachelor Degree in Economics and Business Administration from UCM (Madrid) and a Management Development Program (PDD) by the IESE Business School.
He also holds a CAE of the Cambridge University and a 3.5/3.5 in the TOEIC.

Alberto is a Director Corporate Finance Department at Colliers International. He joined Irea Corporate Finance in 2007, and in March 2018 he joined Colliers International after the acquisition of Irea by Colliers International.
He has participated in debt restructurings, financial advisory and complex corporate & investment transactions in the real estate sector, as well as the sale of debt portfolios and REOs to institutional investors. Recently, he has participated in the advisory to Sareb to divest €1.000 million of NPL porfolio, has sold the real estate company Via Celere to Varde Partners and restructured over €2,000 million of debt.
Notable achievements include advisory services to financial institutions in the Martinsa Fadesa agreement modification process, the financial restructuring of more than €10,000 million, advisory services to Sareb on the sale of the Agatha, Macarena and Ines loan portfolios, Advisory services to Caixa in the acquisition of different PL portfolios and the structuring of residential investment deals with international funds.
He began his career as a Senior Analyst in the Strategic Consultancy Europraxis.
Joan is Managing Director of Corporate Finance department at Colliers International. He was a founding partner of irea from 2002 and in March 2018 he joined Colliers International. He has extensive knowledge of the residential development market and the Spanish real estate market. He specialises in mortgage loan portfolio transactions, in restructuring bank debt and real estate company mergers and acquisitions.
Joan began his career at Arthur Andersen Barcelona.
