Colliers International Environment

Our Human Resources policy supports the growth and development of all employees. Colliers International France encourages recruitment of young people into the business, promoting diversity, integration, training and skills development, careers advice, personal wealth and security advice, as well as promoting a high quality working life. We promote an open and constructive dialogue with our partners, employees and managers. Important subjects are often discussed and reviewed with all company staff. Our HR policy is founded on our four corporate values: service, expertise, community and fun.

In order to attract the best future talent, we create partnerships with targeted schools (ESSEC and ESTP). We have a strong social media presence and attend specific events in the real estate sector to promote the Colliers brand. Our teams are our best ambassadors and can recommend someone they know for a position. We regularly review our recruitment plans to ensure that we are supporting our growth and development, both in Paris and in the regions.

We have a transparent recruitment process and will always give candidates a timely answer and feedback following an interview. We also run work experience programmes where students can find out more about the profession.

Colliers International France promotes diversity. By hiring people from different backgrounds, with different personalities and at varied stages of their career, it can help foster creativity and offer a range of perspectives and ideas.

Our diversity initiatives include job retention for seniors, employing people from different countries, inspiring young talent, promoting gender equality and support for disabled employees. We treat all applications equally.

A welcome booklet and orientation session is given to every new employee when they join the company, offering information on HR and all Colliers International services. A mentor is assigned to every new employee to assist them during the first months. New employees rotate around colleagues in order to learn about all areas of the business. Our trainees are all assisted by a tutor.

We want to retain our talented people and assist every employee in their professional career development. Our approach to career management includes annual reviews that evaluate outcomes of the last year and set goals and development direction for the next. We support mobility around Colliers both in France and globally.  Our managers receive management training to support an individual's growth and encourage them to succeed.

Every year, we review our health and safety policy to ensure we are  improving working conditions, protecting employee’s health and preventing risks, including conducting security training. The company has a prevention plan for our employee’s health. We also have an approach to measuring Quality of Working Life, meaning we can assess wellbeing at work and improve areas where necessary.
