Howard is based in the West End Ofiice where he primarily advises clients on rating matters in the West End and South East markets. Some 35 years of experience in the Rating field covering some six Revaluations He is actively involved with coordinating retail rating appeals in a number of RSA Comittees in major towns. He has acted on behalf of a variety of clients with major office occupations in Central London.
He started his career with St Quintin where he spent some five years chiefly advising City occupiers, with notable results.
Notable succeseses include substantial savings secured on behalf of clients headquartering buildings, for Alliance & Leicester, Portman Building Society, Haymarket, Vodaphone and Sotheby's. For example on behalf of Sothebys Millions of pounds have been saved over multiple Revaluations in respect of their New Bond Street premises( 2005 List RV reduced from £1,300,000 to £ 915,000)
More recently substantial benefits have been secured for clients deeply impacted by the adverse effects of Crossrail works for example rates savings in excess of £1 million pounds for CBI at Paddington.
Advised a variety a number of retailers over numerous Revaluations with considerable success.
