Mike joined Colliers International in 2006 to provide advice on a wide range of mixed use development projects, primarily in the North West of England. Mike is a Chartered Surveyor with over 25 years of property experience.
Mike has the benefit of over 10 year's client side experience having been employed as Land Manager for both regional and national house builders where he gained experience in large scale site appraisals and acquisitions. Mike has also been a Director of a registered NHBC house builder focusing on private new build residential developments.
A significant proportion of Mike's work at Colliers International is focused around advising clients on the valuation, appraisal and disposal of various mixed use development opportunities. Mike's client side experience means that he is well placed to provide consultancy advice from a developer perspective, particularly when negotiating the disposal or acquisition of opportunities.
Chester West & Chester Council - disposing agent of former HQ premises at Backford Hall Estate of 23 acres for residential development.
Staffordshire Police Authority - retained sole disposing agent of former HQ premises in Stafford comprising 16 acres with outline planning consent for residential development.
Trafford College - retained disposing agent for 5 acre site in Altrincham with outline planning consent for 70 houses.
Mike has a BSc (Hons) Degree in Estate Management from Bristol Polytechnic.
Mike has been a qualified member of the RICS for 23 years.
