I am a former partner at BCL and have specialised in retail property in the Midlands ,North ,Scotland and Northern Ireland throughout my career.
Within my role as Head of Agency North I have responsibility for our retail coverage in Birmingham,Leeds ,Manchester ,Glasgow and Edinburgh , and continue to build relationships with new and existing clients.
Over my career I have advised retailers such as Carphone Warehouse,Laura Ashley,Boux Avenue , Hotel Chocolat and SimplyBe on their portfolios within the regions .
In addition I have carried out leasing mandates on shopping centres for clients such as SWIP,Westfield,Ivanhoe Cambridge and CIS.
I am a Retail Agent based in the UK. I act mostly for Retailers in acquiring new property or advising on their existing portfolios. We strive to give an exceptional service to our clients and look to deliver the best possible solution within the optimum time frame by better understanding of our client's business. For example- we work in our client's shop units (where possible)to experience their business and practices first hand. My clients include Primark, Pret a Manger, Subway Sandwiches, Sainsburys Supermarkets and Jaeger.
Head of Retail Development
Greg is a retail property and development specialist with nearly 30 years’ experience, who advises clients across the UK on all aspects of retail agency, development and investment. He provides advice on food stores, shopping centres, out of town and all other forms of retail and mixed use development. His expertise includes master planning, scheme design, development appraisals, compulsory purchase, leasing, development agreements and the sale and funding of projects. Greg is a particular expert in food store development. He is retained by Sainsbury's to advise them on their supermarket properties across the north of England and also advises ALDI's Corporate Property team. Greg has a strong track record in advising both private and public sector clients on the development of new shopping centres, retail parks and mixed use developments.
Richard graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a BSc (Hons) degree in Urban Land Economics in 1993 and joined Hill Woolhouse, Leeds (now BNP Paribas) concentrating on high street and out of town retail agency and development. Richard became a Professional Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors in 1994 and a Director of Hill Wollhouse in 2002.
Richard joined Savills in 2005 and helped establish and expand their then recently opened Leeds office and centrated on retail investment and development.
Richard joined Colliers International in March 2010 as part of the Retail Development team. Richard is part of the team providing advise to Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd in their main food store expansion across the north of England. The remit includes land acquisition and development consultancy advise for Sainsbury's across Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, Chester and the North West.
Richard advises Sainsbury's Property Investments on a consultancy basis and provides additional resource to the Sainsbury's in-house team. The remit is nationwide and includes advice of land acquisition, development consultancy, lettings and disposals.
Richard advises clients for residentail land aquisitions in city centres for build to rent residential schemes and student accomodation as well as for retirement and later living schemes as well as more traditional house builders in more suburban areas throughout the north of England. He advises a numbers of national and regional developers and occupational clients on acquisition, development and occupational matters.
Richard has significant investment agency experience and advises clients through the UK predominantly in the retail sector.
Tom is part of the Retail Development team that provides advice to a variety of occupier, owner and developer clients in relation to in-town, shopping centres, foodstores, retail warehouse and roadside properties.
Tom has particularly strong experience in the foodstore sector and assisted Sainsbury’s in their large foodstore expansion drive through both new sites and store extensions. In 2016, Tom was seconded into Netto UK as a Development Surveyor to assist Sainsbury’s property team in seeking new sites for the value retailer across Yorkshire and the North Midlands. This role has now evolved to provide asset management advice to their existing portfolio across the north of England.
Tom is currently providing advice to Bolton Council and their joint venture partners BCEGI and Midia in relation to the acquisition, leasing and mixed-use redevelopment of the Crompton Place Shopping Centre in Bolton. Tom has also worked as part of the team on retail led developments in Barnsley, Darlington, Harrogate, Leeds, Liverpool, Mansfield, Penrith, Sunderland, Warrington and The Point in Malta.
He is currently providing shopping centre leasing advice on schemes in Billingham, Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester and has previously acted on a number of shopping centres across the North and Midlands
Before joining Colliers International, Callum worked in the Professional Services department at Carter Towler where he spent a year dealing with Commercial Lease Renewals and Rent Reviews, in particularly within the Retail market.
Following his 12 months at Carter Towler, Callum went onto join Colliers International in May 2016 working within both the Retail Development and Retail Agency departments.
Callum provides advice to Sainsbury's with regards to their expansion drive within the foodstores market, specifically in the north of England. The scope includes advice in land acquisitions and development consultancy, whether this is to be at a new store, a replacement store or the extension of their existing space. He has also played a key role in provides leasing and development advice to St Modwen on a number of their existing retail assets.
The leasing aspect of Callum's work has seen him play an active role in the lettings of a number of High Street shops, acting on behalf of funds such as Aviva and Legal & General. He also provides advice on behalf of Subway through 8 retained counties regarding their ongoing acquisition drive.
Bob has over 40 years experience in the retail property market, specialising in the out of town retail market and acting on behalf of retailers, developers and landlords in the acquisition, disposal and leasing of premises throughout Scotland. He also has wide experience in carrying out rent reviews of out of town food stores and retail warehouses for both landlords and tenants. In addition, Bob is a member of the Chairman of the RICS in Scotland’s Panel of Independent Experts.
I am a Director in Retail Scotland, and have responsibility for new business generation, client liaison and maintaining Colliers International’s position as a leading player in the retail agency.
Having joined Colliers CRE in April 2006 to become Head of In Town Retail I have over 25 years of experience in the UK commercial property market, having previously held similar roles with Cushman & Wakefield and Jones Lang LaSalle, all based in Glasgow.
I am part of a team of 3 within Colliers International Retail Scotland, and haves responsibility for new business generation, client liaison and maintaining Colliers International’s position as a leading player in the retail agency market in Scotland.
Leasing & Asset Management work has included a number of high profile shopping centres across Scotland including; Livingston - The Centre, Inverness - Eastgate Centre, Dundee - Overgate Centre, Glasgow - St Enoch Centre, Glasgow - The Forge Shopping Centre, Cumbernauld - Antonine Centre, Dunfermline - Kingsgate Centre, Motherwell - Brandon Centre and Clydebank - Clyde Shopping Centre.
Landlord clients have included Land Securities, Hines, Grosvenor, Rocksrping, F&C Reit, CBREGi, Ivanhoe Cambridge, Belfast Office Properties, London & Regional, Milverton Properties and Edinburgh House Estates.
Ross has also been heavily involved in retailer acquisitions with clients such as Holland & Barrett, Joules, Oliver Bonas, The Works, The Gym Group, Select and Flight Centre.
Managing Director - Agency Belfast
Jonathan is the Managing Director of the Belfast office and has over 25 years experience in the commercial property sector.
Jonathan is in charge of the Investment and Development departments within the Belfast office. He is extensively involved in the PBSA , BTR markets as well as retail occupational and investment markets with an emphasis on development and the introduction of new GB based retailers to Ireland.
