Jon is Head of Corporate Restructuring at Colliers International responsible for providing reasoned advice on all type of distressed property assets across the UK.
I am a Director in the Advisory & Restructuring team at Colliers International, which is a market leader in the fields of Real Estate Finance, Restructuring and Recoveries.
Our market and the expertise of our team are broad and varied. We advise lenders, investors, businesses and other stakeholders across a spectrum of real estate sectors, acting as a central point of contact to facilitate cross-sector and cross-region projects. The team operates nationally from bases in London, Bristol, Birmingham and Leeds.
I specialise in providing strategic advice and option analysis to lenders, corporate finance and private equity, with a focus on investment property and portfolios. Where appropriate, I assist with the implementation of value-add initiatives and exit strategies to increase value and release capital, including via LPA and Fixed Charge Receiver appointments.
I have worked throughout the real estate cycle since 2007, during which time I have gained broad experience in property valuation, lease advisory and restructuring. Prior to this, I studied Real Estate Management and International Banking & Finance at Nottingham Trent University and Nottingham Business School. I have further experience in sales and running a small business.
I am also an RICS Registered Valuer and APC Assessor, providing assistance to Graduate Surveyors within and outside of Colliers during their APC training and preparation for Final Assessment.
