Mr. Györke starts his real estate career at Universale international in 1996 as property manager. In 2000 he became the founding member of International Real Estate Services Ltd. (IRES) a partly Austrian real estate advisory company, where he was responsible for the property management division. From 2006 he is the managing partner of Whitestone Investments where he is mainly responsible for the residential development arm. As of 2009 he becomes the Managing Partner of Property Partners Ltd. - Leader of Property Manager division.Currently Mr. Györke is the Managing Partner of Real Estate Management Services (REMS) at Colliers International in Hungary. He is responsible for the property management and project management division.
I started his professional carrier in the construction sector as site engineer of Rákóczi-bridge construction on Danube in Budapest. I joined EC Harris as project manager in 1996, associate partner from 2000. During the EC Harris years I was dealing with a wide range of turn-key development projects, pre-acquisition audits and dispute resolution appointments. Clients were SAB, Tesco and AIG Lincoln.
I joined Tesco’s team as head of maintenance services for Hungary in 2003. My mission was re-structuring Tesco Hungary’s technical operation regime and setting up a professional service team of employees and suppliers providing a robust “background” of retail. It also included building up and bringing into play a maintenance call center, receiving all requests from the stores and issuing all purchase orders to service partners as well as introduction of computer aided service management and administration.
Completing the Tesco mission successfully, I wanted turning back to real estate projects. I joined the Polish developer, Echo Investment in 2007 and changed for WING in the Autumn of 2008. At WING, I was responsible for preparation of large value project such as refurbishment of Buda Palota (ex Postapalota, 25,000 m2 GLA registered office building, Budapest 12), V17 (20,000 m2 GLA new office building, Budapest 13.) and Duna Passage (15 ha river-front development area, Budapest 9).
I started my carryer back in 2006, as a projekt manager, for a small optical retail chain in Hungary, Slovakia, and Poland. After a proactive change in 2007 i became the head of thecnical department for FOTEX-OFOTÉRT Kft, where i was responsible for the store designs, implementations, as well as the maintance duties of cca 130 optical retail stores.
As a PM i joined to a project company in 2015, for re build the adanboned BAT HQ, which succesfully re opened by the end of the year.
In 2017 i joined to MOL Group as a maintanence engineer, where i had the responsibility for maintanance works at 100 petrol stations , as well as the specialised HVAC maintenence tasks at 450 petrol stations.
