I’m a management consulting professional, specializing in projects involving business intelligence, strategy consulting and risk management. I have worked with corporate occupiers, developers, investors and government organisations to formulate strategies, support decision making and helping clients create and maximise value from their real estate assets and investments.
I lead the consulting practice at Colliers International in India and South Asia, with dedicated platforms for developer, occupier and infrastructure consulting. Over the past 14 years, I have worked across real estate, financial services, infrastructure and risk consulting in India and the Asia Pacific region. My experience includes portfolio assessment, market entry plans, development and disposition strategies, valuations, forensic accounting, business restructuring, litigation support, land acquisition, infrastructure advisory and public-private partnership (PPP) projects.
I have led a number of development consulting assignments across asset classes, ranging from high density city-centre residential and commercial developments, hotels, malls, mill land and slum redevelopment projects to large townships and scale special economic zones spread over thousands of acres. I have advised developers on optimising their processes for enhanced entity-level efficiency as well as project-level solutions to understand consumer preferences, development positioning and identifying alternate revenue streams for large scale mixed use developments.
On the occupier side, I have worked with several Fortune 500 companies on city-and-country level location strategies, agile workplace strategies, consolidation plans involving alignment of business and CRE goals and scenario planning for office, data centres, R&D infrastructure, warehousing and industrial assets. I have also undertaken catchment area analysis, market penetration and store roll-out strategies for QSR and other retailers as well as branch network optimisation for banking and insurance companies.
My experience with sovereign wealth funds, multilateral institutions and private equity clients has given me exposure to a diverse spectrum of investment challenges across sectors. I have also worked closely with global and Indian law firms on complex transactions, dispute resolution strategies and stressed assets.
I have a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Sikkim Manipal University and a graduate degree in law from University of Mumbai.
