During the quarter, 113,000 sqm transactions have been recorded, that is the best result for a third quarter in the past decade. As a consequence, the total amount from the beginning of the year has achieved some 350,000 sqm, up compared with the same period of last year.
Demand for offices by the companies is still steady throughout 2019 and the 400,000 sqm threshold will be surpassed at the end of the year.
Some characteristics observed in the past quarters are still a feature of the Milanese market.
For example, the pre-let transaction volume is still relevant this quarter and represents 40% of the take-up volume. The two most important pre-let transactions have been about 15,000 sqm each and both refer to an IT and a consultancy company.
