Is project financing right for you?
Real estate projects are largely based on the property's cash flow, potential advantages (subleasing, development, etc.) and the outlook for the future. Project financing is a structured type of financing, which means that a number of equity investors collaborate in purchasing a property. This gives you the opportunity to participate in projects that may be too large to develop on your own. At the same time, you get greater maneuvering latitude in diversifying your real estate investments.
Property syndicates provide greater manoeuvring latitude
Property syndication means that you can get into real estate without being tied to one large, single investment. In this way, commercial property ownership can be a part of your portfolio without having to finance the entire operation yourself. Syndication provides economies of scale compared with single investments. This could mean, for example, reduced transaction costs. In addition, you are not required to take part in the management and follow-up of the property if you prefer not to.
As your partner, you can leave everything to us. We ensure that your interests are prioritised and looked after. We work with real estate companies and syndicates, organise and place mortgage bonds, convertible bonds and assist with equity issuance. In addition, we take on advisory tasks within the areas mentioned under the compliance description below (No. 3).

Erik is Partner in Colliers International Corporate, a company that focuses on developing real estate club deals. He has more than 20 years of experience in raising capital for investors in real estate and finance at companies such as Orkla, Union and Agasti. Erik focuses on deal sourcing, project structuring and financing of real estate projects and syndicates in which he can provide clients with advice and consultancy services in the fields of corporate finance and real estate transactions.
Lasse is Partner in Colliers International Corporate, a company that focuses on developing real estate club deals. Lasse has more than 7 years of experience with brokerage and project finance and can therefore provide wide knowledge within real estate club deals as well as brokering services in the market for unlisted real estate stocks.
Lasse works with Compliance at Colliers International Corporate. He has extensive experience from oil, shipping, financial markets and real estate as a broker/advisor and investor both in Norway and abroad. Before joining Colliers, Lasse has previously worked with well-known companies such as Statoil, First Securities, International Maritime Exchange and Agasti Capital Markets.
Christopher works with project finance, developing and funding property syndicates and club deals for Colliers International Corporate. Christopher started working for Colliers International in Toronto, Canada, as a Data Associate. Prior to working with corporate finance, he was a Senior Real Estate Advisor on our Landlord representation team, with a main focus on Industry & Logistics. Christopher can provide consulting around deal sourcing, project structuring and financing of real estate projects and syndicates.
Nicolai works with Project Finance at Colliers International Corporate. He started working for Colliers in 2016 as a property manager before joining the Collier Corporate team. Before joining Colliers, Nicolai worked as Head of Rentals at Zurhaar & Rubb located in Bergen, Norway. Nicolai can provide consulting within financing of real estate projects and syndicates.
