Dean is a highly respected hotel investment advisor specialising in the disposal, acquisition and valuation of hospitality and tourism assets. Dean provides advice to many institutional and tourism related entities including those noted in the client info tab.
Dean is also actively involved in a range of work in the wider South Pacific basin including; Fiji, Tonga & Samoa.
Dean joined Colliers International in May 2013 as National Director, Hotels for New Zealand and the South Pacific.
Prior to that Dean was Executive Vice President of Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels & Hospitality Group New Zealand & Queensland with over 25 years’ experience in the wider property industry.
He has also been actively involved in the wider property industry, holding a senior lecturing position at the University of Auckland between 1999 and 2011.
Chris specialises in the provision of valuation and consultancy advice for hospitality and tourism assets in New Zealand and South Pacific. Chris is a Registered Valuer with a strong background in real estate and finance.
Chris originally joined the Colliers International NZ Limited’s Valuation & Advisory Services Team in October 2003 becoming registered in 2007. Subsequent to registration Chris spent four years working for a property firm in the UK, before returning to Colliers in April 2011. In 2015 Chris moved to the ANZ as a manager of the Property Risk team before re-joining Colliers International in June 2017 as Director – Hotel Advisory and Valuation.
Chris’ experience gained while in the working and travelling over the past 14 years has provided him with a sound knowledge of the tourism real estate industry and banking procedures.
Jack is a registered valuer and as an original staff member has been with Colliers since 1989. Jack is qualified in both the rural and urban disciplines, but his particular focus is on the valuation of hotel and leisure property throughout New Zealand, Fiji and Rarotonga. Jack is a long standing member of the Auckland Land Valuation Tribunal and has sat on many of the leading compensation cases of recent times.
Damon is a Registered Valuer with experience in the provision of valuation and consultancy services for a range of specialist assets throughout New Zealand; including valuations for mortgage security and financial reporting purposes, ground lease determination and structuring advice and development feasibility advice and hotel operator selection processes.
