Foveran is an expansive hill country station spread over two extensively developed properties - Foveran Station (1,389.4490 hectares) and The Brothers (1,256.4025 hectares) giving a total area of 2,645.8515 hectares.

Offered for genuine sale, Foveran is a high performing, large scale, mixed breeding and finishing property nestled into the eastern hills of the Hakataramea Valley near Kurow in South Canterbury. It has been developed to a very high standard including recently constructed irrigation storage ponds (500,000m3 holding capacity), centre pivot irrigation and newly established pastures and Lucerne areas. It has a good range of infrastructure including a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom homestead, separate office, events amenities and well positioned stock handling facilities. Foveran is renowned for its deer stud so the sales arena, enclosed sales yards plus its surgical room/laboratory facility for embryo transplants are all key improvements.

This property provides an excellent balance with its well-developed flats, easy rolling downlands plus medium to steeper hill blocks. It is currently run as a large-scale red deer stud operation together with breeding cattle and low micron Merino sheep. Because of the deer stud and the extra space required for trophy animals, the current stocking rates do not reflect what the stock carrying capacity would likely be under a more traditional sheep, beef and deer operation - based on conservative estimates this would be approximately 14,000 stock units with the ability to increase further from additional irrigation development.

Foveran is an exceptional property in all respects with the added advantage of further upside through its substantial irrigation allocation and additional irrigable areas.

Offers are sought from potential purchasers with Expressions of Interest to be received by 4pm, 5th December 2019.
