Mathias is the director of the Project Management service line in Panama since 2015. Has been in charge of the continous growth of the department since it started in 2015, and has led important corporate relocation projects like Microsoft and IATA.

Mathias graduated from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile with a Master in Civil Engineering, specialized in structural design, were he also actively participated in a state funded research project analyzing the seismic risk in the north of Chile and seeking to improve Chilean design codes. 

Accomplishments

Established the Project Management service line in Collieres Panama and has led multiple corporate relocation projects. 

Graduated of a Masters of Science in Civil Engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile. 

Worked as part of a reserach project developing a data base of over 500 seismic records from Chile as well as participating in the statistical analysis of seismic records to develop suggestions to improve Chilean Building Codes.

Clients:

Microsoft Panama (610 sqm)

Lead project manager for Microsoft's relocation to a new office space in Panama. Was in charge of coordination of multiple stakeholders, including the design team and the general contractor. 

iATA Panama (130 sqm)

Lead project manager for IATA's  relocation from San Jose, Costa Rica to Panama. Was in charge of the project from strategic analysis to occupancy, including the design development and construction of the shell-space. Colliers International also developed  the interior design and the full architectural and engineering project for the office. 

Cultural Construction - Basilica Don Bosco (120 sqm)

Lead project manager for the construction of a visiting hall for a relic in Panama City's largest church. Included the coordination of the design and re-construction of existing office space into a visitor chapel, including the demolition and re-construction of the existing slab.
