International demand propels Lisbon’s resi market

Lisbon’s residential market has been growing. International demand explains an important slice of that growth, with international demand considering Lisbon a valid option where to live. Colliers International studied international demand and estimates the future trend of a novel reality, of which Madonna is the visible face.

Portugal's increasing international appeal is intertwined with tourism growth and the recent regulatory framework intended to attract international demand (Golden Visa, NRR Tax Regime). Colliers International estimates international demand to account for a quarter of the overall residential market volume, in Lisbon.
