Ian has worked extensively throughout the United Kingdom and the Middle East, North and Southern Africa having been involved in projects in all of the Arabian Gulf Countries, the Levant, North and South Africa, GCC countries, plus Republic of Mozambique, Republic of Namibia, Kingdom of Swaziland, Lesotho, Sudan, Egypt, Lebanon, Syria and Jordan.
For the last 20 years Ian has been based in the GCC, initially as an Associate Partner with a consultancy firm and later as the General Manager of a UAE focused Real Estate Investment Company. For the last 12 years he has lead the Valuation and Advisory teams of Colliers International MENA offices with P&L responsibility for the following teams in the Middle East and North Africa region; Valuations (residential and commercial teams), Development Solutions, Healthcare, Education, Plant and Machinery Valuations and Hospitality.
Mansoor has over fifteen years of experience in consulting and applied economic research at Colliers International, Ernst & Young, Andersen Consulting Worldwide, and with a leading Real Estate Developer Manazel Real Estate PJSC (Abu Dhabi, focusing on affordable / mid-income housing) in the areas of Business / Strategic / Operational Planning and Transformation, Operators Search & Selection, Market and Financial Feasibility Studies, Valuations, Due Diligence and Private Equity.
Colliers International has very established practices in the UK, USA, Singapore and Hong Kong, relating to Healthcare, Education and Public Private Partnership (PPP), and in the region, Mansoor is working with Colliers’ international offices and through Colliers’ centres of excellence platforms to bring together global innovations with in-depth local knowledge, to provide solutions which satisfy clients' local needs.
Mansoor works in both Dubai and Saudi Arabia offices.
Prior to joining Colliers International, Mariam was a research analyst for a UAE based real estate advisory company. In this role Mariam collected and analysed information concerning the realty market and the wider macroeconomic sector in the MENA region.
Before moving to Dubai, Mariam worked for a European-based research and consulting company in Colombo, Sri Lanka. There, Mariam was responsible for research projects related to information technology, competitor analysis and product development.
Currently Mariam is based in the Development Solutions department of Colliers International, Dubai. Her responsibilities include analysing regional real estate market, compiling regional market studies, highest and best use and financial feasibility reports. Mariam also analyses real estate market trends as well as macroeconomic data on an on-going basis.
