Colliers once again demonstrated its expertise in consulting Siemens Gamesa with leasing at best conditions an office floor of 1026 m2 in Novus Tower, located at the newly developing area Bayraklı.
Colliers International Turkey, which has provided specialized services to many domestic and international companies in relocating their offices in Turkey, assisted Kimberly Clark in their relocation process. Kimberly Clark needed to relocate from current premises, which was aged and out of date in terms of technical infrastructure. Main goal was to do this without increasing occupancy cost budget.
Colliers suggested to relocate to a recently developed A Class building within the same location, which had high vacancy and therefore landlords are easier to negotiate and willing to give more incentives. Using the reputable name of the tenant as a leverage in negotiations, Colliers secured a 5 year lease by receiving a relatively longer rent free period to market standards while not increasing the client’s current occupancy cost.
Colliers International, who had in years serviced many multinational clients in their acquisitions of commercial properties in Turkey, have assisted one of the global leading insurance companies, Allianz Turkey, on their acquisition of new HQ building in Istanbul. As the sole representative of Allianz Turkey in their search of a new HQ building in İstanbul, Colliers International have supported the client in; creating a comprehensive long list of alternatives, thoroughly analyzing each alternative, qualitatively and quantitatively, in order to finalize the short list, and represented the client at the negotiations of the short listed properties in order to ensure the best commercial purchase terms.
Throughout the process, Colliers demonstrated its strong expertise of the office tenant representation services in Turkey and Allianz successfully completed its acquisition of an iconic 36 storey Rönesans Tower, an A Class office building in Kozyatağı, İstanbul, developed by Rönesans Real Estate.The acquisition of the building, with its 45,000 sq.m. total available office space, will not only consolidate Allianz’s current multiple office locations in one iconic high rise building with a very strong brand image, but also provides them with a solid investment into fast growing A class office market in İstanbul.
I have been managing Colliers International in Turkey for the past 15 years, in the capacity of Managing Partner.
My main emphasis during this period; along with the general management of the company, was directing the agency and brokerage services for commercial real estate, helping clients in projects totalling to over a million square meters of leased and sold space.
Prior to the role of Managing Partner, I have been directing the real estate valuation & advisory services, between 2000 and 2004, creating a reference portfolio of over 30 million square meters valued or analyzed, including offices, retail, residential, hotels, and mix-use projects.
I am also one of the founders of Colliers International in Turkey.
Hakan joined Colliers International Turkey in 2007.
He has been active in Colliers in commercial brokerage and market research for the delivery of landlord and tenant representation services to many local and multinational clients. These services included assisting his clients for new office and industrial lease acquisitions, lease renegotiations and renewals, and asset disposal in Turkey market.
Tuğba joined Colliers International in 1999 and since then has been working in different capacities as office administrator during the initial years and later as industrial broker for leasing and sales of industrial properties such as land, factories and logistic warehouse buildings, and finally joining Agency Office Team, as an office broker.
Tuğba has completed numerous industrial leases as well as acquisition and disposal transactions on behalf of local and multinational investors and end-users of industrial properties all throughout Turkey market.
Since joining Colliers office team in 2016.
