I joined Colliers in September 2015 following completion of an undergraduate degree in BA (Hons) Human Geography at the Univeristy of Hull and an MSc in Urban and Regional Planning at Heriot Watt University. I qualified as a Chartered Town Planner in December 2017 and I am an active committee member of the RTPI Scottish Young Planners Network. I also mentor university students undertaking planning and property related degrees.
I work in the Planning team in the Edinburgh office and have obtained planning experience working on a number of instructions throughout the UK across a broad spectrum of commercial and residential development projects.
I have had involvement in small scale residential extensions to larger scale schemes of 100 plus houses on greenfield sites and progress schemes through the planning process beginning with the initial stage of promoting sites for development though the Local Plan process, followed by detailed design, planning applications and, where necessary, appeals.
I also have experience in the Change of Use of buildings, including industrial units and offices, as well as development relating to Listed and Historic buildings and other heritage assets.
