About

Professional Summary

I have worked as a cost consultant in London since 2000, initially working for Gardiner & Theobald for three years on a number of new build commercial office developments.  Upon joining Turner & Townsend in 2004 I primarily worked on cultural sector projects such as Darwin Centre Phase 2 at Natural History Museum and the refurbishment of Tate Britain.  Since 2010 I have specialised in interior fit out in the commercial team.  I joined the Colliers International team in August 2019 to head up their UK Corporate Occupier Cost Management offer.

Accomplishments

Led the development of the global interior fit out benchmarking platform for Turner & Townsend.

Led a task team to develop a cost management methodology mapped against RIBA work stages. This includes writing procedures and producing templates for use on the company’s global extranet.

Authored Turner & Townsend’s London fit out market update, presenting at a number of client forums.

Testimonials

"Colin was a key part of our team for the Telefonica Digital HQ project at Air Street. His hard work and willingness to go the extra mile were fundamental to delivering this ambitious project on time and on budget, both in terms of engineering a scheme that was affordable as well as managing the costs during the construction phase. Colin always had a firm grasp of the commercial position, which allowed the business to make decisions with confidence. I would recommend Colin to any future client".  David Russell, Head of Workplace, Telefonica

"I found Colin to be a highly skilled Cost Manager with the right temperament in the high pressured environment we worked under. He was always calm, cool-headed, dependable and a solid team player. He always came across as someone who enjoyed his job - representing his profession with pride. I highly recommend Colin." Ade Osinuga, Project Manager, Goldman Sachs
