Director Valuation & Advisory Services

Paul has over 30 years experience as a Chartered Surveyor having worked in London for both Local Government and in the property department of a high street bank, following which he returned to Dublin and ran the Valuation & Professional Services Department of one of the countries oldest independently owned firms of Chartered Surveyors for over 20 years.  In 2011, Paul joined the National Asset Management Agency ( NAMA), where amongst other things he oversaw the sale and marketing of over €1bn worth of assets including a key landmark site in the Mayfair area of London. Following NAMA, Paul  joined AIB Banks Plc to work with senior management to determine the banks' property lending strategy and ultimatley, he oversaw the Valuations workstream as part of the banks deleveraging  strategy to reduce the Non-Performing Loanbook.   

Laura undertakes valuations of all types of commercial / investment properties nationwide on behalf of both institutions, and private clients. These valuations are generally undertaken as loan security exercises, accounts purposes or portfolio valuations throughout Ireland. In addition to valuations Laura also undertakes Landlord and Tenant work including; rent reviews and lease renewal negotiations.

Having previously worked in Capital Markets Laura has specialised in investment properties and providing strategic investment advice to institutions and private investors in respect of all aspects of commercial property investment including the marketing and disposal of properties, development advice, portfolio asset management, cash flow appraisals and property acquisitions.

Rhona is an Associate Director in Colliers' Valuation and Advisory team  undertaking all types of commercial and residential valuations nationwide on behalf of institutions and private clients.   Rhona has excellent and varied experience in all sectors of the market having previously worked on the periodic valuation of a large pension fund portfolio.  Over the past year she has specialised in the valuation of large PRS developments and development appraisals. 

Rhona is also very active with Landlord and Tenant work including rent reviews and lease renewals.   

Edward Campbell M Sc Real Est, B Sc (Hons), Dip Financial Planning, MSCSI, MRICS, MCIArb-AM, MII-CM is a Chartered Surveyor and Valuer with over 30 years’ experience in private practice working in Ireland and the UK. A member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS Registered Valuer) and the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland he sits on the society’s panel for the Assessment of Professional Competence and is a member of the SCSI/RICS Valuation Professional Group.

He is also a Chartered Arbitrator, a Certified and Accredited Mediator, a Harvard Law School trained Negotiator and acts as an Expert Witness in disputes involving planning law, property rights and real estate valuation.

He is an adjunct lecturer in property valuation, landlord and tenant law, compulsory purchase, property economics and planning law at the Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology and TU Dublin  and is a former lecturer in Maths and Economics at NUI Galway.

Mandy has over 6 years’ experience in various departments within Colliers. She is a chartered valuation surveyor and was previously a member of the Investment and Retail teams.

She has been involved with a diverse range of property acquisitions and disposals and has provided professional services advice including development appraisals to numerous lenders, private clients and developers.

Prior to joining Colliers, Mandy worked for a property developer for 8 years undertaking extensive development appraisals and asset managemen

Hannah is a Graduate Surveyor in the Valuation  & Advisory Department. She undertakes valuations of all types of commercial/investment properties nationwide on behalf of both financial institutions, and private clients. The valuations are generally undertaken for  loan security, accounts purposes or form part of portfolio valuations throughout Ireland.  Hannah also undertakes Landlord and Tenant work including rent review and rating negotiations.

Hannah previously worked in the Valuation & Advisory Department in JLL, where, she was responsible for monthly Fund Portfolio Valuations for Irish Life. She also carried out Red Book Valuations of all property types for banking, corporate and private investor clients.

Prior to this, she worked with Ganly Walters as a Valuation Assistant in the Valuation Department for 2 years. She also has experience in Residential Property Sales and multi-asset Auction Disposal Sales.

Ronan recently joined Colliers International in the Valuation & Advisory Department as a Graduate Surveyor.  In 2017 after working in the Financial Services industry for nearly 20 years (Fund accounting, Investor Services Specialist, Equity and Bond Dealer,) he took the opportunity to  change career and went back to college to study Real Estate.  He completed a MSc in Real Estate in Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin) in 2018.

Abigail joined Colliers International in July 2019 as a Graduate Surveyor working within the Valuation and Advisory team in the Dublin office after completing her Bachelor of Science with Honours and Diploma in Professional Practice at Ulster University. 

Prior to this Abigail worked within the Valuation & Advisory Services and Asset Management teams in CBRE Belfast where she was envoled with numerous rent reviews and lease renewals as well as assisting on the Asset Management of various shopping centres.

Abigail gained residential experience where she worked alongiside a residential surveyor assisting on numerous mortgage surveys and dealing in all aspects of the sales negotiation process.

Carmel joined Colliers International Valuation & Advisory team in 2019, after completing her Bachelor of Science in Property Economics at Dublin Institute of Technology.

Carmel undertakes both commercial, agricultural and residential property valuations throughout Ireland on behalf of both institutions and private clients for the purpose of loan security, accounting or portfolio valuations. Carmel has also been involved in Landlord and Tenant services that include rent reviews and commercial rating negotiations.

Gillian has worked in the property industry for over 18 years. Highly skilled in all secretarial and adminstrative processes providing assistance to Senior Valuers and Directors. Duties include routine correspondence, diary management and coordination of meetings, typing, office filing, travel arrangements, liasing with clients,  preparing reports,  managing projects and managing the admin team.  

Helen Creaven has over 15 years experience in administration, assistant and support roles. She has a strong IT background and  highly skilled in all administrative processes .  Helen is highly proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office Suit.

Jessica is an Administrative Assistant for Colliers International's Dublin office, working on the Advisorty Service's Department.   She is responsible for transcription and composition of communication for Department Heads as well as general  support including office filing, preparation of reports, assisting with current projects and general support to the Marketing department. 

Weldon is a Chartered Global Management Accountant, an experienced Hotel Asset Manager, a former Hotel General Manager and has over thirty years experience within the hospitality  industry, starting work in his family hotel business. Work experience: Radisson/Movenpick Lausanne (CH), Forte Hotels (UK), Eliott Hotel (Gibraltar), Davenport Hotel (Dublin) and a wide range of branded & independent hotels in Ireland and the UK as a hotel asset and project manager.

Weldon is a member of the Hospitality Asset Managers Association Europe (HAMA) and  also consults to Failte Ireland (National Tourism Development Authority) clients as a business mentor, and with hotel owners, in Ireland and the EU. He is an expert hotel witness in legal & arbitration proceedings and also consults on SaaS based systems for the hospitality and tourism industry.

Weldon attended Shannon College of Hotel Management, Technology University Dublin and Cornell University. He trained in Switzerland, the UK, USA and Australia. Qualifications: FCMA, CGMA, MBA, MSc, BA, Adv Cert Hotel Real Estate & Asset Management. Weldon is an industry advocate and has a wide range of industry, private equity & investment clients and acts as an owners' representative.
