As a Debt & Equity Analyst for the Capital Markets group at Colliers International Boston, I have the pleasure of working with some of the most talented people within the greater Boston commercial real estate industry. As an analyst, my primary responsibility is to support other members of the Capital Markets group in the modeling, presentation, and execution of capital strategies so they can, in turn, maximize our clients’ satisfaction with our services. The transactional-based nature of our business requires detailed expertise and nimble solutions, and the excitement of successfully executing a strategically beneficial deal for our clients is a prospect that motivates both me and the Capital Markets team.
I joined Colliers International a year after graduating from Middlebury College in Vermont, during which I interned with two different commercial real estate asset management companies. The first was Legacy Real Estate Ventures, LLC in Waltham, which specialized in Class B office/industrial space spread throughout the greater Boston area. The second was AEW Capital Management, LP in Boston, an institutional asset manager with a global portfolio, wholly owned by the French bank Natixis. I became familiar with a broad range of commercial real estate investments within these two roles and was excited to join the fast-paced transactional environment at Colliers.
Prior to transferring to Middlebury, I played football at University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) for two seasons before seeking a more demanding academic setting. In my spare time, I am an avid skier, chess player, golfer, and cook.
As head of Mortgage Servicing for the Boston Capital Markets team, I handle all aspects of loan servicing for our clients, which includes collections, borrower requests, property inspections, and fiscal year-end analysis. What I enjoy most about my role is that no two days are alike. My position allows me the opportunity to development relationships with lenders, borrowers, analysts, property managers and accountants to name a few. As the saying goes, “the devil is in the details”, and I enjoy digging in to provide thorough reporting.
Prior to joining the Capital Markets team in 2006, I was a property manager for Meredith & Grew (now Colliers International) with a 22-year career in the industry. My experience as a property manager segued nicely into my current role as a loan servicer since I possessed all of the fundamental skills to perform my new role.
While I like the changing New England seasons, my favorite season of the year is summer. If I am not at the office, you can find me at the beach, swimming, kayaking and relaxing. I have a fondness for Welfleet and the Jersey Shore, particularly Long Beach Island where the water is warm, and the waves are big. LBI is my go-to destination for friends and family vacations.
