With extensive transaction experience on both the tenant and landlord sides, I offer a robust suite of services for my industrial clients, including build-to-suits, leasing and sales, and tenant representation. In my 38 years’ experience, I have consummated in excess of 20 million square feet of transactions—including 1.4 million square feet of build-to-suit transactions within the last 12 months.

I place great emphasis on deep, long-term client relationships and utilize a consultative and needs-based approach. I also remain deeply involved in the industry as I am a past president of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), a leading commercial and industrial real estate association, and a long-time trustee and past president of the SIOR Foundation. 

Before joining Colliers International, I was a principal with Podolsky Northstar Realty Partners, LLC and a managing director at Stein and Company.

Betty Wasilewski

Senior Client Services Coordinator

I am a senior client services coordinator within the Industrial Advisory Group of Colliers International | Chicago where I assist four industrial brokers.  I have 19 years of experience in real estate administration/office management. 

Prior to joining Colliers International in 2007, I spent two years as an executive  assistant to two industrial brokers at Cushman & Wakefield. Prior to Cushman & Wakefield, I spent five years at Insignia/ESG where I assisted six industrial brokers and 12 months before the Insignia/ ESG-CB Richard Ellis merger, I managed the Insignia/ESG office.

Craig Hurvitz

Vice President | Market Research
Chicago - Rosemont

I am vice president, market research at Colliers International | Chicago and lead the Industrial Advisory Group’s market research initiative. I am responsible for managing and maintaining the industrial properties database, which includes property sales and leases, tenant information and comparable transactions. I have a deep understanding of the Chicago-area industrial real estate market and provide in-depth analyses, reports and market trends that are referenced by a diverse group of clients including landlords, appraisers and developers. I am considered an expert in the field and am frequently featured in industry newspapers and publications. 

I have more than 10 years of industry experience having served as the director of research for both NAI Hiffman, and most recently Newmark Grubb Knight Frank. In this role, I oversaw the local research departments and provided comprehensive reports on market statistics in the Chicago and regional commercial real estate markets.

I began my real estate career as director of marketing for Rosemont-based Epic Realty Partners, now affiliated with Transwestern. 

SIOR and CCIM: what does it mean for clients?
