Jim Morris

Senior Vice President
Nashville

Jim Morris has advised clients on retail investment strategies since 1999, when he entered the commercial real estate industry. He specializes in the disposition of shopping centers and has sold in excess of one billion in retail assets throughout the southeast. Jim’s resume features a wide range of successful marketing campaigns including the sale of grocery-anchored centers, power centers, regional malls, single tenant retail, and unanchored retail strips. In addition, he has experience in the sale of distressed retail assets, redevelopment projects, and regional development tracts.

Jim’s clients are a mixture of both private and institutional investors and developers. He has also represented national retailers in their disposition of retail assets. His resume of deal experience provides a unique skillset when helping to position client’s assets for the marketplace so that transactions can be predictable and successful.

Jim joined the Colliers team in Fall 2015 after 13 years at CBRE, where he earned "Top 5 Producer" status eight years. A graduate of the University of Mississippi, Jim began his commercial real estate career in 1999 at Trammell Crow Company.

 

Anthony Lunceford

ANTHONY LUNCEFORD IS AN EXECUTIVE MANAGING DIRECTOR for Healthcare Investment Services with Colliers International. He began his career in commercial real estate in 2007 and has quickly become one of the industry’s most respected brokers in his specialty field of healthcare investment real estate. In 2014, 2015, and 2016 he was named to Colliers International’s Everest Club, a distinction reserved for the top ten percent of brokers in the United States, Latin America, and Canada.

Prior to joining Colliers International, Anthony worked with Marcus & Millichap from 2010 to 2013 and Corridor Properties from 2008 to 2010. While at Corridor Properties, his responsibilities included acquisitions and dispositions for a healthcare system operating in Tennessee, North Carolina, and Virginia.

Anthony is a graduate of The University of Tennessee with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the College of Business Administration. He received the CCIM designation in 2009 and SIOR designation in 2014.

Joe Massa

Joe Massa is an Executive Managing Director for the Healthcare Investments Services group at Colliers International. With an exclusive focus on medical investment real estate, Joe has distinguished himself as a market leader in the sector. Prior to joining Colliers International, Joe worked at Marcus & Millichap from 2007 to 2013. Joe has spent over a decade exclusively focused on the investment real estate market and has transacted on deals coast to coast. In 2014 and 2015 he was named to Colliers International’s Everest Club, a distinction reserved for the top ten percent of brokers in the United States, Latin America, and Canada.

Joe is a graduate of Indiana University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business from the Kelley School of Business. He earned his CCIM designation in 2010 and SIOR designation in 2014. Joe is married with two children and enjoys spending time golfing, boating, and snow skiing.

LeeAnn James

As the former CEO of E.W. James & Sons Supermarkets, Lee Ann is well-versed in all angles of the retail investment equation. She joined Colliers in spring 2016, bringing 20 years of retail grocery experience and distinct industry insight to the Colliers Retail Services Group. Lee Ann partners with Jim Morris, a real estate veteran dedicated to serving the needs of the retail investment industry. The team specializes in retail investment services for private and institutional investors, developers, retailers, and lenders.
 

While serving as the chief executive for E.W. James & Sons Supermarkets, Lee Ann oversaw the company’s real estate leases, build-to-suits, acquisitions and divestitures. She was named 2005’s “Woman of the Year” by the National Grocer Association and has been recognized in trade magazine Progressive Grocer as a “Top Woman in Grocery.” Her proficiency on both sides of the retail real estate equation make her an invaluable advisor to the retail property buyer, seller, and tenant.  
 

While her previous career history is an asset to her retail-focused clients, Lee Ann is well-versed in other types of investment properties as sole owner of 3G Development Company, LLC. As owner of 3G, Lee Ann owns and manages commercial and residential rental properties.

Ashley Compton

With a reputation as a key player in self-storage investment sales, James "Ashley" Compton has sold or listed 9.9 million square feet of self-storage over the course of his 12- year career. These transactions are valued in excess of $632 million and place Ashley among top national producers. Upon joining Colliers International’s Nashville office in 2016, Ashley was named a national director of self-storage investment sales.

While obtaining his undergraduate degree, Ashley launched his career as an acquistions analyst for a self-storage REIT. His brokerage experience began at CBRE, where he quickly developed the firm’s Nashville-area practice into a well-known national brand. In 2014 and 2015, CBRE recognized Ashley as the firm’s highest-grossing national self-storage producer. Ashley has served diverse clients including Bank of America, GE Capital Corporation, Babcock & Brown, Westport Properties, Regions Bank, and U-Haul International.

Before acquiring a master’s of business administration with a concentration in accounting from the University of Mississippi’s School of Business, Ashley earned a bachelor’s in finance and real estate from the University of Memphis.

Bert Mathews

As a commercial broker, Bert has been involved in a number of trend setting transactions in Nashville. 

 

Bert was the project leader on the Trolley Barns, a 90,000 square feet mixed use project on Rolling Mill Hill in downtown Nashville.  The development required innovative financing techniques including a 85 year unsubordinated ground lease with MDHA, tax increment financing and the sale of historic tax credits.

 

Bert was instrumental in the first major air rights sale in Nashville, which involved the sale of such rights to J. C. Bradford & Company from Commerce Street Parking Venture.

Bert and the team at Colliers International received the honor of Office Lease of the Year in 2009 from the Middle Tennessee NAIOP Chapter.

Lance Bloom

Lance Bloom has brokered more than $100 million in transactions. He specializes in urban land sales, focusing on the core submarkets of the Nashville CBD for office, hospitality, multifamily, and retail purposes.

The Nashville Business Journal has recognized Lance as both a “Heavy Hitter” nominee and a “Power Leader.” Lance has also been nominated for NAIOP’s 2015 “Power Broker of the Year” award. He is an active member of the Nashville Downtown Partnership’s Residential Development Committee.

Lance joined the Colliers International | Nashville team in 2017 after 4 years with CBRE. He previously served as Director of Sales and Leasing for C.B. Ragland Company.

John Ashley

After graduating from Sewanee, I started as a Business Development Coordinator for Capacity Commercial Group, a commercial and industrial real estate brokerage firm, a Sales Associate at Masterplans, a business plan writing firm, and as the Varsity Boys Head Lacrosse Coach at Riverdale High School in Portland, OR.  After a year, I became an Associate Broker at Capacity Commercial Group working in the office tenant rep. realm.

Vickie Saito

A Central Business District specialist, Vickie Saito has more than 30 years of commercial real estate experience in the urban core of downtown Nashville and surrounding neighborhoods. Active in all areas of brokerage, she has served as the exclusive leasing and sales representative for numerous investment properties and historic redevelopments in the core commercial district. In addition to land assemblages, she has provided exclusive tenant representation for local and national retail, hospitality, and office tenants. As a consultant, she has participated in various urban development projects, including the Site Consulting Team for the US Federal Courthouse, the MTA Central Station Site Development Team, and the Nashville Chamber Music City Center Site Committee.

As a licensed commercial broker in Tennessee since 1987, Saito specializes in the greater downtown and urban submarkets. Vickie graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelors degree in Psychology and study in clinical counseling. After obtaining her Idaho broker’s license, she was a partner in White Cloud Properties in Sun Valley, Idaho, prior to her move to Tennessee. Led by an interest in urban environments and historic preservation, Vickie began her Tennessee real estate career marketing investment and historic buildings in the heart of downtown Nashville. She continues to focus on creative, adaptive reuse of such facilities.

Nate is considered one of the leading authorities on the Nashville real estate market.
