The NC Multifamily Team, led by Steven Peden, focuses exclusively on advising clients with the acquisition, disposition, management and strategic positioning of multifamily properties. We take great pride in tailoring each assignment according to our client’s goals and developing a strategy to maximize the desired result.

A core portion of our business is supporting investors as they make strategic decisions to grow their revenue and increase the size of their multifamily portfolio. Our expertise includes a variety of multifamily investment types including market rate, student housing, affordable housing, fractured condominiums and distressed communities. We work with all types of clients including private investors, institutional investors, funds, REIT’s, RIC ownerships and financial institutions.

We place a special emphasis on North Carolina markets including the Triad (Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point), the Triangle (Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill) and the Charlotte Metro Area (Charlotte, Concord, Gastonia). The group has a proven track record of closing difficult transactions and has the ability to move capital across state lines. The size and depth of our contacts allow us to create a market for even the most complex properties. We have qualified and closed transactions with local buyers as well as buyers throughout the United States and Internationally.

We are members of CMAG (Colliers Multifamily Advisory Group) and we collaborate nationally and internationally with the Colliers multifamily and investment services teams as well as outside brokerage companies. The Raleigh-Durham Multifamily Team is collaborative, intuitive and puts their clients’ needs first.
