After three years spearheading a business development team at Pacific Legal Foundation, a national nonprofit public interest law firm based in Sacramento with an emphasis on real property rights, I am happy to be back in commercial real estate having found a new home at Colliers International. My commercial real estate experience spans nearly 30 years as a Managing Director of the Sacramento, Bay Area, Portland, Denver, and Seattle offices at Grubb & Ellis, and I developed a hands-on perspective of those geographies and markets. This allows me to provide you with a wider perspective of the overall real estate market and anticipate changes in the CRE cycle. Colliers provides me the complete platform to team up with experts with market knowledge in nearly every commercial real estate service line—office, retail, industrial, investments, land, property management and evaluations. 

I am your liaison, consultant, broker, market specialist, and partner. Investors, property owners, and tenants rely on my varied skill set to help them achieve success throughout the real estate process. I specialize in assisting businesses and property owners with the development and implementation of real estate strategies, primarily focusing on law firms and tenants in the Downtown Sacramento market. The combination of my business background, education, and strong people skills enables me to look at a situation from multiple perspectives. One of my strengths in business is the ability to see the “big picture.” In real estate transactions, it is very easy to get caught up in the negotiations and the tiny details, which are often non-issues or irrelevant to the end goal. I push towards the big picture and make sure a deal gets done. Sometimes keeping everyone focused on the end goal can be the most difficult challenge to deal with in a transaction.

When working in real estate, every day is different. To be the best asset I can for my clients, I must be able to fill many distinct roles: financial advisor, business consultant, real estate guru, and sometimes- friend. Having a diverse background and a unique set of skills makes me valuable to my clients and ultimately an asset to both their business and real estate transactions.  By taking the time to gather deeper knowledge and understand the root of what you want to accomplish, together we can make educated real estate decisions to create success for your business.

I help clients analyze their real estate assets to determine effective acquisition and disposition strategies.

I enjoy giving back to the community through organizations that touch matters close to my friends and family such as The Jenna & Patrick Foundation of Hope, Albie Aware Breast Cancer Foundation, and Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. As a native Sacramentan, I enjoy all that the area has to offer with my wife and two children whether it be relaxing in Lake Tahoe, golfing, or enjoying a summer BBQ.
