Bob Browning

Bob Browning is a Vice President for the Retail Services division at Colliers International in greater Washington, DC.  Bob specializes in Retail/Commercial Leasing and Retail Tenant Representation in the market, which includes DC, Virginia, Delaware and Maryland.

 

Bob has been active in retail brokerage in the Washington/Baltimore marketplace since 1994. In 1997 he relocated to Orlando to work for Trammell Crow Company in Corporate Services. Most recently, Bob was a founding member of Ellsworth Company and served as Principal representing ExxonMobil, Dunkin Donuts, KAZ Brothers, Capitol Petroleum Group and YUM Brands!

 

The majority of Bob’s business can be attributed to Corporate Advisory Services, Retail Tenant Representation and Development. He has and currently represents various clients, specializing in Washington, DC, Maryland, Northern Virginia and Delaware large scale retail initiatives. Bob has had long standing relationships with many clients, specifically his multi-location clients. Current clients include: Hooter's Corporate (National Account), TD Bank, Captain D's, Mattress Warehouse, Moe's Southwest Grill, California Closets, Family Dollar, GlowZone, LNR, Snowing in Space and Leonard's

James Crew

James brings with him 30 years of experience in brokerage as well as institutional asset managent.   James was formerly Managing Director of CBRE in both Fort Worth and in Washington, DC. That included Corporate Services work throughout the country representing Westinghouse, Siemens, and Viacom.    He also spent  a number of years with Bentall Kennedy and American Realty Adviosrs asset managing office, industirial, mixed-use, and apartment properties.   Those assignments included properties in Boston, Chicago, Indianapolis, Detroit, Charleston, and the Washington, DC area, including both suburban and downtown Class A buildings.

In Fall 2016, James joined Colliers International  and specializes in land and mixed-use and retail property sales in addition to  leasing in the Washington, DC, and Baltimore areas.   Both owner representation and tenant representation are within his portfolio, with the focus on consistently enhancing value for clients.  James' diverse property expertise combined with invaluable  relationships developed over many years  allows him to provide both excellent consultative work and transactional  experience.  

Kelly Simek

Kelly Simek, an Associate in the Colliers International Retail Services Division, specializes in retail tenant and landlord representation throughout the Greater Washington, DC region. Kelly oversees market analysis, tenant prospecting, strategic planning, property marketing, site selection and lease structuring and negotiation.  As an expert in the commerical real estate field, Kelly supports both national and local clients by providing the companies with valuable market insight and creativity as well as guiding them through the lease process and securing optimal results. 

Our professionals who represent retail tenants offer in-depth research, demographic analysis, GIS services and market expertise to assist with site selection. Whether the essential elements for your business are rooftops or traffic counts, we can help you make a well-supported location decision. We carefully craft your lease to support growth, control common area and NNN expenses and ensure polished tenant improvements.

We believe retail must also take into account strong adjacent tenants, competitive restrictions, signage, development and access contingencies and more to ensure a location is successful. We make this extra effort because we have found that difficulties such as parking access, security concerns or a less-desirable adjacent tenant can swiftly erode overall retail traffic.

Challenge: Manufacturing facility operating out of two facilities needing to combine to one and needed to align three building sales simultaneously to make it happen. 
Results: Exceeded client expectations by aligning three complicated sales and a move of a national production/manufacturing facility.
