Mr. Jinishian joined the firm in 1986 when it operated as Williams Real Estate. With more than 25 years of experience, he specializes in servicing the real estate needs of institutional and corporate clients. During his career, Mr. Jinishian has provided clients with real estate advisory services for the management and leasing of more than eight million square feet of commercial real estate.

Representing both regional and national clients, Mr. Jinishian has handled the acquisition and disposition of office space. He has assisted such firms as CIGNA, Citicorp, Lehman Brothers, Willis Group, Mattel, JPMorgan Chase, PaineWebber and Steelcase. For Phillip Morris Capital. Mr. Jinishian restructured the 1.6 million-square foot net lease of 1 Mellon Center and sold Mellon Center to Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. Another one of Mr. Jinishian’s most memorable transactions was representing CIGNA in the acquisition of its 470,000-square-foot corporate headquarters at 2 Liberty Plaza in Philadelphia, PA.

Mr. Jinishian has been the exclusive leasing agent for approximately six million square feet of office space located throughout New York City. Additionally, he was the sales agent for 156 William Street, Four Columbus Circle, 3 Dag Hammarskjöld Plaza and 30 and 33 West 57th Street. Mr. Jinishian represented Steelcase, Inc. in its purchase of the Class A office building at Four Columbus Circle for its corporate headquarters. Subsequently, he arranged for the longterm sale-leaseback of this 125,000- square-foot building with favorable renewal options that ensure Steelcase’s long-term, uninterrupted control. Mr. Jinishian achieved a profit of $42 million for his client and assured it flexibility and future control of their tenancy.

BUSINESS AND EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Jinishian was an Asset Manager for AFA Asset Services, Inc., a New York real estate investment firm with a portfolio consisting of more than $1 billion in assets. Mr. Jinishian graduated from Hobart College with a major in English literature.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Mr. Jinishian serves on the board of various local charities. He is a membership committee member of both CoreNet and the Real Estate Board of New York.
