About

Professional Summary

Alicia was born and raised in San Jose.  After graduating from De Anza College she relocated to Atlanta, Georgia to complete a Bachelor's Degree in English and Journalism at Georgia State University. Shortly after graduating she spent some time living in New York City where she held a position as a Program Coordinator.

With a desire to be home and closer to family, she returned to San Jose in 2009 and has been back ever since learning and growing in the research field. With an overall analytic disposition, she discovered a great interest in data analysis and reporting at EMQ FamiliesFirst, an organization known for its eminent children and family services.  For the past four years, she has contributed to an outstanding outcomes and evaluations team, supporting various initiatives such as program data management, accomplishing agency reporting goals, and market research. She currently applies all learned and innate skills sets to the Colliers research team.

Alicia, in her free time, enjoys spending time with friends and family and her little Maltese-Yorkie puppy, Zulu. She enjoys sports (primarily basketball and football), travel, watching movies, reading, and listening to a wide spectrum of music genres.
