Professional Summary

Beth is a commercial real estate investment broker.  Licensed in both Oregon and Washington, she has extensive experience in the disposition of market, 1031 exchanges and REO properties, including multifamily.  Beth’s clients are typically owners and investors of multifamily properties from 5 to 200 units in the Oregon and Southwest Washington region.

She has been directly involved with over $500M in sales or transactions, from the marketing, contract review and negotiations through closing.  She works closely with investors, receivers, trustees, REO officers and attorneys. Beth has also served as an “expert witness” on commercial multifamily real estate legal cases.

Beth goes directly to market with any “for sale” properties because she strongly believes that by marketing a property to “all the national market outlets” at the same time and co-oping with outside brokers, she will achieve the highest price possible for her clients. Beth acts as a single point of accountability for her clients with a strong team of resources and professionals working with her to ensure that every transaction is completed with the utmost commitment and highest standards of service delivery.

Prior to joining Colliers International Portland, Beth was a principal broker at Winkler & DuPont which handled portfolio management and investment sales for multifamily, senior living, student housing, office and industrial properties. Beth was also Vice President of Marketing for one of the leading developers in Honolulu, The Myers Corporation, who developed commercial, resort and residential condominiums, including First Hawaiian Bank, One Archer Lane, Kamehameha Industrial Center, The Hawaii Prince Hotel and the Hawaii Prince Golf Course. From a personal standpoint, Beth comes from a real estate family who has invested in multifamily properties over the years.

I have worked with Beth DuPont on my multifamily investments for the past few years.   Recently, Beth listed and sold my Oregon multifamily portfolio, and helped me with a complicated 1031 exchange into a single tenant NNN property in Tennessee.  I have always found her work and investment real estate counsel exemplary.  The timing of this investment change has been very helpful to me, and I know I could not have achieved this without Beth’s help.”

“I would like to take a moment to thank you (Beth) for handling my apartment sale. Your ability to deal with each facet of the sale and proactive, communicative style made me comfortable and confident that my interests were being properly represented.  I hope we have the opportunity to work together again, and highly recommend your services.”

“Beth DuPont represented me on the sale of one of my apartment properties. Her “go directly to market” practice produced multiple offers and an “all cash” offer - $40,000.00 higher than the asking price. The property closed in less than 30 days, and I was able to do a successful 1031 Exchange - which Beth also helped me identify and purchase. Yes, I will be working with Beth on the disposition of my other investment properties, and 1031 Exchanges.”

Walter W. | Private Investor

The team was “professional and knew what they were doing… Full service and first class company.”

2019 Q2 Portland Metro Multifamily Report
Rent growth continues to rise as high quality product delivers around Portland’s central city, although development activity will likely increase to the west (Hillsboro) and east (Gresham) due to the regulatory environment in Portland. Investment sales outpaced Q2 2018 by 25% (number of sales) and 13% (value of sales), and the average deal value increased 30% over the same period, which indicates higher value products trading. Low interest rates have belied many concerns about the economy slowing down, providing a cushion for investors active in the Portland market.
