Digital Marketing Director
As Director of Marketing Technology, my main focus is to develop and incorporate new technologies that will generate and distribute information more effectively and efficiently throughout the company's various information platforms. My responsibilities include the design, development and maintenance of web-based marketing platforms and distribution systems, application development, as well as communications and digital marketing support for the Northern California and Nevada offices.
I started with the company in 1996 when, after studying at San Jose State University and employment at a real estate-focused printing and publishing company, I was hired as a Marketing Coordinator for the San Jose/Silicon Valley office. My previous thirteen years of experience in the graphic design and print production industry offered me the opportunity to help expand the company's in-house marketing capabilities and service offering. This was also a time of expansion for the company and I was called upon to help create new marketing departments in three offices, as well as standardizing equipment and procedures in an additional four. As digital platforms were beginning to take a more significant role in most businesses' day-to-day operations, I was tasked with developing and maintaining multiple systems, including our website, intranet, and a marketing email communication platform.
In my time with Colliers, I have served on several national and international project committees and in 2010, I was humbled to be recognized with the Colliers USA Pinnacle Award for individual service excellence at the company's national conference in Nashville.
Born and raised in San Jose, my family and I relocated to Austin, TX and have called the area home since 2001. Away from the office, my interests include hockey, music, tequila, and great Central Texas BBQ.
