About

Professional Summary

I started my career in RETAIL brokerage in 1985, transitioning from the retail sector, as Vice President of Design and Construction for Circuit City ( which brought my family to Richmond, Va.),  and Vice President of Store Planning for Rite Aid Corporation.

During this period of time I have been the Director of Retail Brokerage for our firm and have mentored several Agents, that I'm proud to say, have gone on to have stellar careers as Brokers in our industry.

With regard to my clients and customers my philosophy has always been to put their interests first, whether they are national, regional, or "mom and pop" tenants, or sellers or buyers of large or small properties.

On a national level I represented Heilig-Myers Furniture in over 55 transactions throughout the country, Through a national network. I coordinated  the Brokers and reported weekly, and sometimes daily, with corporate headquarters. I also represented Morton's of Chicago in Richmond, as well as other markets.

Locally I have been recognized as a "retail expert. I am often called on by print and on-line media, have appeared on ABC and CBS local TV affiliates, and wrote a monthly real estate column, for The Rchmond Times Dispatch, for five years. I have also been a guest speaker for The Retail Merchants Association (RMA), the VUC Trends Conference, and moderator of various retail forums.
