Christin Jones has an extensive career in commercial brokerage with a specialty focus on retail project leasing. With over 9 years experience in the shopping center industry, Christin has leased over 2 million SF creating a total Lease value of nearly $100 million for her respective clients. Over the years, she has successfully represented both local and institutional owners leasing assets across the retail spectrum- from multi-tenant buildings to regional power and lifestyle centers.

Christin partners with Genny Hall offering their owners a unique team approach to third party leasing. Her current portfolio consists of over 1.5 million square feet of retail product in Central Florida representing owners such as American Realty Capital Properties, Wilder Companies, and TA & Associates. While her primary focus is on Landlord representation, Christin also has extensive experience in working with national tenant throughout Central Florida.

Accomplishments

  • EJ Plesko & Associates – Successfully secured over 42,000 sf of new deals at Millenia Crossing, a 100,000 sf Nordstrom Rack anchored center. Through strategic remerchandising efforts, Christin relocated two retailers- ZGallerie and Destination Maternity- out of the upscale Mall at Millenia with a combined lease value at over $4.5 million. National retailers such as Ulta Cosmetics and Crazy8 also joined the line-up, increasing the center’s occupancy to 100%.
  • Wilder Companies – Represents two major retail centers, The Rialto and The Loop West totaling over 550,000 sf. Through her leasing efforts, both centers reached 100% occupancy allowing ownership the ability to put both assets on the market. In addition, she has been tasked to pre-lease phase II of the Rialto which recently broke ground.
  • Simon Property Group – Responsible for the leasing efforts of three major Simon assets including Terrace at the Florida Mall, West Town Corners and Highland Lakes Center. Due to her creativity and focus, Christin was able to secure over 39,000 sf at the 493,661 sf Highland Lakes Center bringing in retailers such as Rue 21, Simply Fashion and The Orange County Library System.
