As a senior executive with Global Corporate Services, CB Richard Ellis, Mr. Caggiano led national teams of multi-disciplined professionals in the business development and portfolio management for Fortune 500 corporations, not-for-profits, government agencies and institutional and entrepreneurial owners. While at CBRE, he completed hundreds of transactions totaling over 3 million square feet of retail, industrial and office properties in 30 states and abroad.

Following, CBRE, Mr. Caggiano became Head of Corporate Real Estate and Facilities for Source Interlink Companies, one of the nation's leading publishing companies, where he was directly responsible for the management and leasing of multi-million square foot portfolio of leased and owned office and industrial real estate throughout North America and in Europe.  At Source, Mr. Caggiano directed the consolidation and restructuring of the corporate real estate department implementing cost-sensitive portfolio optimization and outsourcing strategies that dramatically reduced the company's net annual real estate operating expenses.  Most recently, Mr. Caggiano was the leader of the New York City practice group of Travers Realty Company, a premier, boutique tenant representation firm based in Los Angeles.

Accomplishments

Mr. Caggiano's diverse and successful career in real estate has included roles in virtually all of the principal aspects of the industry with experience as a practicing real estate attorney, as head of a corporate real estate department and nearly a decade as a senior level corporate services executive.

Education

Mr. Caggiano began his career in real estate as an attorney with two large New York metropolitan law firms, Stern Steiger Croland and Budd Larner.  At both firms, his practice focused on consultation, negotiation and drafting of acquisition and disposition agreements and representation of tenants and owners before local zoning and planning boards and in federal and state courts.  He holds a Juris Doctorate degree from Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Franklin and Marshall College.  He is admitted to the Bar in New York, New Jersey and District of Columbia.
