Professional Summary

David is a Principal with Colliers’ Occupier Services division and founding member of firm’s Tenant Advisory Council practice group.  He specializes in delivering strategic and process-driven transaction services.

In addition to strategic tenant representation brokerage services, he leads a team eight experts dedicated to serving middle market and Fortune 500 clients with multi-market solutions globally from a center of excellence in Chicago.  Client offerings include account management, brokerage, portfolio analysis, lease administration, workplace strategy, labor analytics, capital markets, project management, incentives, and property management. 

Over the past 20 years, David has excelled at negotiating complex leasehold acquisition and dispositions.  His experience includes negotiating dozens of major headquarters transactions, as well as complex build-to-suits and consolidation projects to implement cost reduction strategies.    His clients acknowledge him for his integrity, trustworthiness, responsiveness, and innovative problem-solving.

David and his team have completed thousands of transactions globally and are consistently top performers for the firm.

Education

David worked on Capitol Hill developing a specialty in economic incentives and became a site selection consultant at Arthur Andersen LLP.  Then he moved into tenant representation and corporate services at CBRE and C&W before joining Colliers in 2008.

David earned an MBA in Finance, Real Estate & Marketing from Northwestern’s Kellogg School, where he created a Kellogg Real Estate Alumni Club which continues today.   Prior, he earned his BA Economics from the Liberal Arts College at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, where he played lacrosse and was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. 

David and wife Kristy met at Illinois, got married in 2001 and have three sons – David (16), Andrew (14) and Danny (12).
