About

Professional Summary

My real estate roots are deeply embedded in Hawaii. Through my family’s ownership of the largest title & escrow company in the state, I has grown up learning the various real estate markets throughout the islands and have been surrounded by many of the leaders in real estate within the islands.

I concentrate my energy on high street retail in Waikiki and in Resort Retail on all islands. I specialize in Landlord representation in Resort Retail properties and affluent specialized markets. I have had great success over the years working redevelopment projects like Haleiwa Store Lots (30,000 SF, consisting of qualified resort retail tenants like Kahala Sportswear, Island Vintage Coffee, Mahina, Greenroom Hawaii, T&C Surf, Maui Divers, and many more) and re positioning centers like The Shops at Kukui’ula (consisting of 87,000 SF, with noteworthy tenants like SoHa Living, Tommy Bahama’s, Tori Richard, Oasis Lifestyle, Reyn Spooner, Mahina, Malie, Blue Ginger, Aaron Fienberg, Olivine, Palms Gallery, Ruth Chris, and Longs) and SALT in Our Kaka’ako with the following tenants: Gillia, W at SALT, Pioneer Saloon, Island Urgent Care, and Urban Island Society.  In Waikiki, I am apart of the leasing team for Pualeilani Atrium Shops at the Hyatt Regency in Waikiki with such notable transactions as Urban Outfitters, Crazy Shirts, Local Motion, Nature Republic, Cinnamon Girl, Sanuk, and Flip Flop Workshop. Some of my other recent transactions in Waikiki include Canyon Beachwear, Kahala Sportswear, Kai Luxe, Refinery, and The Poke Bar at Waikiki Beach Walk, CHIBO Restaurant at 280 Beach Walk, and SOHO New York Salon, Simply Woods, Cinnamon’s Restaurant at The Ilikai Shops. Our team also works on 2113 Kalakua which is fully leased and the remodel of the Waikiki Beachside Hotel.

I have spent a lot of  time working at remerchandising the tenant mix in A&B Properties Kailua Town with new unique local boutiques and eateries and currently am working on the redevelopment of Kahala Marketplace, one of the most prestigious neighborhoods on the island of Oahu.

My enthusiasm, dedication, and determination allows me to look beyond any single transaction and instead focus on how the merchandising and uniqueness of each tenant synergistically benefits the overall property and all parties involved. Our Resort Retail Monthly Newsletter sent to many in the industry and our clients is personally completed by us each month showcasing the most notable news of the month and a inside of our personalities and what our Resort Retail Team focuses on. One of my greatest contributions to our team is my responsiveness to clients and timely detailed communication with them.

Prior to joining Colliers International in 2007, I started my real estate experience in California working in the multi-family division at Grubb & Ellis BRE in La Jolla. I was also able to expand my knowledge of the commercial market being exposed to countless commercial projects in the San Diego area through the Real Estate division at The University of San Diego.

I am currently engaged with numerous non-profit organizations within the State of Hawaii. I am extremely active in Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and have sat on their board since 2009. I am currently Board Secretary and promote their annual gala. I alsosit on the Advisory Board for the Family Business Center Group and have held the positions for Retail Chair and Next Generation Chair for the State of Hawaii for International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and works closing on their Hawaii committee. I have recently joined the Board of Waikiki Improvement Association (WIA) and participate with the Waikiki Community Center annual gala. I am also highly committed to grants and organizations that fund education and have been on many grant committees. Last but not least, I  sit on the board for the Expanding Horizon Scholarship and as secretary of the private corporation that created it.
