Mr. Ferriello is co-leader of Colliers’ New York Media and Technology Practice Group. He has represented organizations in every stage of the business cycle, from early stage start-ups to global, publicly traded firms. Mr. Ferriello addresses the unique needs of these companies, including provisions for dynamic change, across a complex international real estate landscape.
In 2017, he consolidated two locations for Travel Leaders with a 106,000-SF lease at 1633 Broadway, creating their U.S. Headquarters.
In 2016, he expanded Facebook’s New York headquarters with a 160,000-SF lease at 770 Broadway. Mr. Ferriello also secured Facebook’s second building in Manhattan, with a 200,000-SF lease at 225 Park Avenue South, creating an urban campus in the Union Square area. In addition, he completed expansions for Silicon Valley Bank (20,000 SF) and Grovo (70,000 SF) as well as opening Andreessen Horowitz’s first New York office.
In 2015, and after four years of strategy development and implantation, Mr. Ferriello helped SoundCloud create a 53,000-SF U.S. headquarters at 50 West 23rd Street in the heart of the Manhattan’s Flatiron district.
In 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018, Eric earned Colliers’ “Everest Award,” which recognizes the firm’s top professionals in Brokerage, Valuation and Corporate Solutions across the Americas region. He also won Colliers’ “Rising Star Award” in 2009 for his dedication to his clients and the firm. Eric was named to the Commercial Observer's "New York Real Estate's 30 Under 30", selected as "One of Tomorrow's Leaders in Real Estate” by Real Estate Forum, named "50 Under 40" by Real Estate Forum and most recently received Connect Media's "Next Generation Award".
Prior to joining Colliers, Mr. Ferriello worked at Webster Financial Corporation, where he served as a commercial banking associate specializing in commercial real estate lending. He graduated from the University of Connecticut with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Business Administration. Mr. Ferriello also participated in the University of Connecticut Program for Sales Excellence
