As Vice President at Colliers International, I have extensive knowledge of a variety of types of transactions including leasing, acquisitions and dispositions. With over a decade in the industry, I have acquired an extensive knowledge base of trends occurring in real estate, and I use this knowledge to advise my clients and strengthen their business goals. Throughout my career, I have been honored twice as a recipient of the Minnesota Commercial Real Estate Association’s Transaction of the Year Award for projects in 2011 and 2013.
My clients remain my number one priority throughout every transaction. I am dedicated to building a lasting relationship with each and every one of my clients, and I work incredibly closely with them to reach their long-term real estate goals. I take a consultative approach to commercial real estate and know that real estate assets are often one of the biggest costs for a business.
In 2017, Eric represented CHS, Inc. in the renewal of their 160,000 SF lubricants facility. The transaction involved a difficult landlord, which eventually led to arbitration which Eric successfully navigated and won a favorable award on behalf of his client.
In 2013, Eric began site selection process for Sweet Harvest Foods. He successfully negotiated a lease for 100,000 SF to accommodate short-term growth. In 2014, Eric was re-engaged by the owner to begin lease negotiations with the goal to secure the facility under a long term lease. During that time they continued to investigate alternative options in the market. In 2015, Eric was successful in negotiating a 100,000 SF long-term lease on behalf of Sweet Harvest Foods.
In 2013, Eric represented Boise Cascade in the acquisition of a 105,000 SF facility on 9 acres. This complex transaction was for distressed real estate that was lender owned, and the acquisition allowed Boise to purchase facility that would accommodate their continued growth.
