Account Director, Client Services
I am an account manager for Colliers International in Chicago. In this role, I am responsible for executing and overseeing the management of client services to ensure client deliverables are met. I am the central point of communication and is responsible for establishing a thorough understanding of client objectives with investment- and property-specific strategic plans and initiatives.
I have a successful resume of experience with multi-site property management operations including the managing of the physical, operational, financial and customer service performance for a wide variety of asset types under varying market conditions. I oversee the properties and staff within the portfolios and maximizes performance through appropriate leadership. Additionally, I coordinate activities with and maintains a supportive interface with other divisions including leasing brokerage, investment brokerage, construction/design, facilities and real estate management services.
As a regional property manager at Foresite Realty Partners, L.L.C., not only did I manage daily operational duties and property oversight, I also handled financial statement reporting and interpretation, the preparation of budgets, common area maintenance reconciliations, insurance and real estate tax management, deferred maintenance issues and capital projects. I also oversaw matters such as tenant bankruptcies, evictions, collections of tenant estoppels, adherence to loan requirements, immediate repairs, use of reserves, cash sweeps, etc., as well as environmental remediation and municipal requirements.
My 20+ years of experience in commercial real estate encompasses my tenure as an account/marketing manager and leasing broker for Grubb¬ & Ellis Co. in Newport Beach, CA where I managed client and broker relationships as well as the broker referral process, property identification, transaction oversight and lease negotiations. During my time with Grubb & Ellis, I joined an institutional investment team and was responsible for the marketing of assets in excess of $10 million.
Prior to Colliers, I was a senior portfolio manager at M & J Wilkow where I oversaw the financial and physical operations of more than 1.2 million square feet of nationally anchored retail centers across three states. I was responsible for communicating with external financial partners to ensure that net operating income, financial and business objectives and were being met.
