Professional Summary
Gregory J. Laskody, CCIM, has over 28 years of commercial real estate experience throughout the South Florida market, with extensive expertise in investment sales, real estate mortgage and investment banking, and valuation. Collectively, he has been involved in over $2.0BB of commercial real estate transactions since graduating from the renowned and nationally-ranked Real Estate program of the College of Business at The Florida State University.
Throughout his career, he has held leadership and management positions with some of the most notable companies in commercial real estate, such as: Deloitte; Nomura Capital; Wells Fargo, Q10 Capital, and; Newmark Grubb Knight Frank. In addition to being a Certified Commercial Investment Member (“CCIM”) of the CCIM Institute, he is also a former Member of the Appraisal Institute (“MAI”), and previously was a licensed mortgage broker, a state-certified general real estate appraiser, and an appraiser instructor, all in the State of Florida. In addition, he was also an Adjunct Professor of Real Estate Studies at Miami-Dade College.
Greg joined the Boca Raton office of Colliers International in May 2016 as a Senior Vice President of the Capital Markets Group, focusing on: 1) investment sales, and; 2) realty capital origination and procurement, mostly throughout the tri-county market area of South Florida (Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties). His exceptionally diverse background in the industry presents a deep level of market knowledge and financial advisory experience that significantly contributes to the efforts and successes of his clients.
He has worked extensively with a variety of clients that include:

Greg was also a Conference Committee Member of The Florida State University’s Center for Real Estate Education and Research from 2011 through 2015. He has also been a panelist and speaker at various local, state-wide, and regional commercial real estate events.
He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate and Finance from The Florida State University in 1988. Since graduating, he has successfully completed more than 60 real-estate related courses and seminars sponsored by the Appraisal Institute, the CCIM Institute, accredited universities, and others.

I joined the South Florida team as an Associate, based out of the Boca Raton location, with a primary focus on investment sales and capital procurement in Palm Beach County. I have a commitment to excellence and bring an unprecedented level of service and efficiency to my clients with every assignment. My skills include financial and quantitative modeling and income statement and lease analysis, which allow me to provide thorough and accurate valuations for various asset types. My team leadership experience and dedication enable me to support the team’s pursuits and projects in the region.
Prior to joining Colliers, I served as an Intern at John Hancock Financial Network where I lead a successful project to improve efficiency with communication between recurring clients and new agents. My professional accomplishments also include establishing a database for retrieving crucial policy information and account balances, improving overall effectiveness with accounting, information and document management.
I am actively serving in the US Army National Guard as a Lieutenant and Platoon Leader in Deland, Florida. During my monthly training I am responsible for the readiness and training of soldiers and maintenance of over $25 million dollars in assets.

As a dedicated member of the Marketing team for our South Florida region, I work closely with my team in all aspects of marketing to support our brokers and our clients in order to achieve their goals. Working in all service lines of real estate for lease or sale throughout our region, I am involved in every step of the process beginning with the creation of proposals to win new business, to the coordination and execution of the marketing campaign for new listings, ending with the final processing of closing documents. My responsibilities include the creation of quality marketing materials such as custom maps, flyers, offering memorandums and custom websites. I also track all marketing activity to provide clear and concise client update reports to ensure the client is fully informed and aware of our efforts.
I am always excited when working with new industry tools to take our listings to market and have been a huge advocate for innovative tools to accelerate the success of not just our local team but that of our entire region, showing our clients and competitors the Colliers Difference.
I have been in the commercial real estate industry since 2008 specializing in office and retail properties. My previous experience in property management allows me a unique understanding of commercial real estate properties and only enhances my knowledge of the commercial real estate sector.
