Prior to entering commercial real estate, Jennifer has had extensive international business experience, from engaging in human rights work, to working with large multi-national developers and contractors, to international trade by brokering steel and aluminum products. After attending a program at Spain’s prestigious IE Business School in Madrid to study International Trade and Finance, she co-founded OrbisX Group, Inc. an international trade company providing commodity import and export brokering, trading services and consulting for global suppliers of steel and aluminum. Leveraging her past contacts with contractors and developers, OrbisX Group launched into brokering steel for large development projects across the world in countries including, but not limited to: Canada, United States, Mexico, Europe, Luxemburg, Slovenia, Turkey, Cyprus, Nigeria, UAE, China, Singapore, Laos, Vietnam, South Korea and Hong Kong. Their success came by utilizing aggressive and innovative foreign market investigation and entry strategy, forging strong multilateral global relationships in banking, insurance, financing and international tax strategy, while utilizing creative transaction management, and orchestrating collaborative global supply chain movements to achieve win-win goals for the clients and suppliers.
Prior to international trade, Jennifer had received a Certificate in Real Estate Finance at University of California, Los Angeles and worked with real estate and hotel development and investment company, RHC Properties, Inc. They were responsible for developing hospitality projects, and management of investments into land and commercial properties. This group had partnered with various sources of foreign capital investing into US real estate, land and development projects. Jennifer worked directly in their investment analysis and sales team to customize and strategize ideas for investors who preferred to re-develop after acquisition. She participated in performing feasibility studies, financial analysis and due diligence, developed models for operating proformas, acquisition, development and master plans. And summarized a strong financial picture for investors by compiling data such as operating statements, leases, gross income, expenses, taxes and insurance, to ensure strong and viable investment opportunities into their projects.

Wihin her 1st year of brokerage at Colliers International, she put over $60 million under contract in development land sales in Downtwn Los Angeles.

Jennifer is very active in philanthropic work and is highly dedicated to providing access to education for children, the protection of youth. She is involved in or serves on numerous philanthropic boards such as: Five Acres, The Midnight Mission, El Suzal Orphanage in Ensenada, MX and The City of Hope.
