Jim has been a manager of commercial real estate since 1983. He specializes in commercial management of office, medical, retail and industrial properties. He is experienced in implementing tenant retention programs, sustainability initiatives, vendor contract management, operating and capital budgeting, business plans and property value enhancement.
Jim Unruh is responsible for Colliers International | Kansas City’s Management Services Group, which currently manages 8 million square feet of third party commercial real estate investments.
Prior to joining the firm, Jim was a member of the management team at Corporate Woods, a two million square feet office, retail and hotel development in Kansas City, where he was responsible for enhancing value through creating and initiating business plans, budgeting process and tenant relations.
