With over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate, Jimmy Ventura’s extensive background enables him to provide the highest level of service to his clients. Mr. Ventura first joined Colliers in 2005, serving as a Senior Property Accountant for a few years. He returned to Colliers in 2016, joining our property management team servicing the Kailua retail portfolio for A&B Properties, Inc. A&B eventually assumed management responsibilities in-house, at which time he assumed the General Manager position for SALT at Our Kaka’ako, owned by Kamehameha Schools. Both assignments involved significant redevelopment, integrating local culture with upscale restaurants and retail, bringing the community together with innovative events.
Mr. Ventura’s portfolio of notable assignments clearly demonstrates his level of expertise in managing different disciplines of commercial assets for institutional clients.
Prior to Colliers, he worked as an operations and projects specialist for Nike’s Corporate Facilities Department in Oregon, overseeing tenant improvements and larger construction projects, along with budgets, forecasting, and lease administration. He moved to Hawaii in 2005, and after his first few years with Colliers’ accounting division, realized his passion for property management. He transitioned to Douglas Emmett as Assistant Property Manager for 1132 Bishop (class A office building), and was later promoted to Property Manager for Harbor Court (mixed use office/condo association property). Years later, he assumed the position of Senior Property Manager at Pacific Guardian Center, operating one of Honolulu’s most significant Class A office complexes with ground floor retail. Mr. Ventura brought his career full circle with great passion and energy, when he returned to Colliers. His knowledge and experience in project management, property management and accounting provides him with an advantage and unique perspective in his role.
