Both private and publicly traded corporations rely on me to help them in the disposition, acquisition and development of commercial real estate. As an associate in the Industrial Advisory Group at Colliers International, I work alongside Brian Kling, a top industrial producer, to provide my clients with in-depth market knowledge on the southwestern suburban marketplace.
I previously interned with Colliers Chicago’s Investment Services team and assisted analysts by creating offering memorandums, which were then sent to potential buyers. I also canvassed the I-55, Waukegan and Fox Valley submarkets of Chicago creating a comprehensive database of more than 600 tenants. In addition, I toured clients through properties and updated more than 500 industrial properties in Colliers’ proprietary software system.
I also interned with Origami Capital Partners, a private equity fund in Chicago who specializes in acquiring distressed assets throughout the country. In this role, I assisted senior analysts in modeling distressed assets and commercial real estate portfolios; created quantitative analysis for investor committee memos; and sourced and contacted venture capital firms throughout the Midwest to identify potential investment opportunities.
