About

Professional Summary

Building owners rely on my strategic approach and collaborative nature to improve buildings and meet their environmental and sustainability goals. I have a unique blend of building systems expertise, knowledge of best practices and an understanding of how buildings really operate which enables me to assist building owners in the successful implementation of building improvement projects and verify that their buildings operate as intended. I am passionate about assisting our clients in reducing both their operating and energy costs and reducing the environmental impact of their buildings. Through collaboration and team work I am able to support building owners throughout their building improvement initiatives. The triad of saving owners’ money, delivering high performance buildings, and protecting the environment is what drives me each day.

Outside of my role at Colliers, I have been involved in the development of guidelines and best practices for both new and existing building commissioning through my work with the Building Commissioning Association and ASHRAE. After spending nearly three decades assisting building owners I have learned that being a good partner requires a collaborative team effort where I must listen and understand what the client’s needs are in order to create a customized approach to meeting their building energy and sustainability goals.  When I am not assisting clients with the reduction of their carbon footprint, my family and I like to be outdoors skiing down the slopes of our favorite mountains, hiking, and boating.
