Client Services Coordinator
Mikayla Cruz is a Client Services Coordinator in the Dallas-Fort Worth office of Colliers International. She supports the Allen Multifamily Team and focuses primarily on custom marketing brochure development, transaction management, due diligence, market research, as well as behind the scenes organization for the team.
Prior to joining Colliers, Mikayla served as a Marketing and Transaction Coordinator at Marcus & Millichap for five years. Ms. Cruz was responsible for all the marketing content and transaction management for the top producing office and industrial team in the Dallas office.
Senior Vice President
Mark Allen is a Senior Vice President in the Multifamily Services group for Colliers International in Dallas, Texas where he specializes in both market rate workforce and select affordable housing assets. Mark is committed to creating and preserving wealth for his clients and is a true consultant and advocate providing comprehensive services in the acquisition, reposition, and disposition of multifamily assets throughout North Texas and 1031 exchanges into alternative assets.
Mark has an established track record of successfully selling multifamily assets and is responsible for maintaining client relationships. He is an integral part of all phases of the marketing process, including the oversight of transactions. Mark and his team’s success is evidenced by his loyal, repeat client base who rely on him to help expedite their goals.
Prior to joining Colliers, Mark served as Vice President at Marcus & Millichap within the National Multi-Housing Group. Since entering commercial real estate in 2010 with Sperry Van Ness, Mark has worked on acquisition and disposition of numerous retail, medical and corporate users.
As a proud alumnus of the University of Texas at Arlington, Mark earned both his MS in Real Estate and his BBA in Real Estate. Mark successfully completed the Harvard Business School Executive Education Real Estate Management Program comprised of Finance, Design, and Leadership. He is a designated Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). He resides in Tarrant County with his wife, Devan Allen, Precinct 2 Tarrant County Commissioner.
Courtland Charles is an Associate with Colliers International in the Dallas-Fort Worth office. Specializing in the exclusive representation of buyers and sellers of Multifamily investment properties. He provides extensive advisory services and representation to clients in the disposition, management and acquisitions of apartment related assets. He is recognized for his overall market knowledge, work ethic, tenacity, and passion for the real estate industry.
His goal is to provide optimal real estate solutions that links his clients’ real estate needs with their over all business strategies. Courtland’s understanding of real estate began from at a young age while working with his father, who was a residential real estate agent in the Dallas area. At the age of 18 he transacted his first real estate deal, which immersed him in the industry.
As an experienced Certified Apartment Manager and commercial real estate asset manager, Amar has a deep understanding of improving the performance, and the marketing of multifamily properties. Amar’s strong analytical skills and extensive knowledge of operations are utilized to personally direct the course of action through complex transactions. He has been working in the real estate field for 7+ years, including management, acquisitions, repositions, dispositions, 1031 exchanges. He has a keen understanding of client needs and goals and successfully translates his skillset in helping clients create & retain wealth.
Scott W. Smith is a Multifamily Investment Sales Associate with Colliers International in the Dallas-Fort Worth office. Scott is an experienced Sales Associate with extensive knowledge in business administration. Prior to joining Colliers, Scott worked in the oil and gas data management industry for five years as a sales associate and data analyst. He also apprenticed with a prominent venture capitalist, which exposed him to various sectors of commercial real estate industry.
Scott’s team works with a wide range of investors from local private clients to multinational institutions. He specializes in the acquisition and disposition of multifamily investment property throughout DFW and beyond. His main objective is to provide our clients the highest possible profitable return that the market will yield.
Abigail Perrini is a Financial Analyst in the Dallas-Fort Worth office of Colliers International. Abigail works in investment brokerage with the Multifamily Services Team that consists of Mark Allen, Amar Hayer, Courtland Charles, Scott Smith, and Madeleine Aufricht.
Abigail performs financial analysis to enhance a client’s real estate strategy and forecast costs. She utilizes detailed underwriting in the valuation of properties and formation of investment strategies. She also researches and analyzes market statistics for the creation of quarterly market reports and pitch presentations and abstracts and examines lease documents for a better understanding of a client’s real estate portfolio.
Nick Laessig is a Multifamily Investment Sales Advisor in the Dallas-Fort Worth office. He assists investors and property owners with the acquisition and disposition of their multifamily assets. Nick's background in finance and marketing allows him to advise clients on potential investment opportunities and seek creative ways to strategically reposition capital within the asset class.
Previously, Nick was a part of the Healthcare Advisory Team where he worked closely with the team's corporate client helping to manage lease renewals, relocations, and expansions of the company's 270 surgery and imaging center portfolio throughout the country. He assisted in transactions of ambulatory surgery, imaging, and ophthalmology centers, in addition to skilled nursing facilities and ENT practices.
Nick also founded and operated a leading edge architectural and commercial photography firm focused primarily on providing photography and digital media marketing for real estate brokers, commercial developers, multifamily investment groups, and luxury resorts throughout Arizona and Southern Utah. Since 2012, Nick has photographed over 2,500 properties with some notable projects/clients including Hilton Hotels, Marriott, Humphreys & Partners, Mercedes Benz, Sotheby’s International, and Whole Foods.
Executive Vice President, Capital Markets
Jörg Mast is a market expert with over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate. He is Executive Vice President at Colliers International where he leads the National Multifamily Investment Sales Team in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas. The team covers Texas and select markets throughout the Central U.S. providing a full range of capital market services to its clients in the multifamily industry. These services include investment sales, direct debt origination, land sales, and arranging JV equity for both acquisition and development. Jörg has also been responsible for the development of various regional mixed-use developments such as Mockingbird Station in Dallas and So7 in Fort Worth.
Mr. Mast began his professional career in the hotel and restaurant business in Europe. He worked at the Hotel du Cap in Antibes, France and the Hotel Le Bristol in Paris, France, then was promoted to the management team of his family’s resort hotels in Germany - which are all members of the worldwide “Relais et Châteaux” association.

Chris Paul is a commercial real estate broker with over 30 years of experience providing transactional services exclusively to the multi-housing industry. He is Executive Vice President at Colliers International where he is a co-leader of the Institutional Multifamily Investment Sales Team based out of the Dallas office. The team covers Texas and select markets throughout the Central U.S. providing a full range of capital market services to its clients in the multifamily industry. These services include investment sales, direct debt origination, land sales, and arranging JV equity for both acquisition and development.
Previously, Mr. Paul founded and operated LaPaul Partners, a boutique commercial real estate investment advisory firm that specialized in the sale and financing of institutional grade multifamily properties in Texas and throughout the southern U.S. His extensive transaction experience totals more than 1 billion dollars and includes investment sales, land sales, structured financing, and joint venture equity financing predominantly within the multi-housing industry.
Prior to forming LaPaul Partners in 1988, Mr. Paul was a broker for John Dowdall and Associates where he was responsible for the sale of unimproved land for development and investment. Before that, Mr. Paul was a project leasing manager charged with leasing high-rise office buildings in Downtown Dallas for SPG International, an international commercial real estate development company.
Mr. Paul graduated from Southern Methodist University (SMU) with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance. He is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Texas and the State of Florida and a member of the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (NTCAR) and The Southern Methodist University Real Estate Society. In 1993, Mr. Paul was awarded the CCIM designation by the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute of the National Association of Realtors and is currently an active member of the North Texas CCIM chapter and the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors. Mr. Paul also has been a member of the National Multi Housing Council, which he joined in 1996.
