Mr. Taetz offers over 32 years of experience with Colliers International with a strong focus on industrial multi-modal transactions spanning a broad range of logistics projects including raw land site selection, high volume warehousing, manufacturing, rail car storage–in-transit, and development of barge fleeting facilities.
Prior to joining Colliers in 1986, Mike was employed as a construction manager with Brown & Root and, thereafter Trammell Crow Company. His knowledge of multi- modal and supply chain related facilities has benefited a variety of clients with their site selection process, leading to his involvement in over 300 transactions, valued at over 700 million dollars over the past ten years. Mr. Taetz became a Principal in the Houston office of Colliers in 1997.

With more than 38 years of experience in leadership, sales and marketing, Abel Garcia is an accomplished, ethical and inspirational manager. His background includes hiring and building sales and marketing teams, with particular ability to equip and enable teams to meet and exceed objectives. Abel strives to consistently expand his responsibilities based on performance, and continues to grow as a leader. His experience has led him to be a highly respected and trusted executive among management and subordinates alike.
Abel’s extensive training in sales growth and passion for marketing has built a platform to excel at Colliers Houston with responsibilities such as creating property briefs, marketing plans and advertising materials. He utilizes his strategic planning expertise by updating the annual business plan and is constantly communicating active property assignments with appropriate staff members.
Lisa joined Colliers in 2010 as Director of Market Research bringing 26 years of commercial real estate experience to the firm. Lisa initiates proactive market research projects to further the business goals of the company. She writes and prepares 29 market reports annually which include quarterly reports on Houston’s retail, office, industrial and healthcare properties. Further, she prepares statistical ownership reports for various clients as well as an annual Houston Economic Overview. Lisa also creates PowerPoint market presentations, trade journal articles, and other marketing materials in support of the company's business endeavors. She works with senior management in planning the company's marketing strategy and public relations support for local and national conferences, luncheon meetings, recruitment programs, and special events. Lisa works closely with the company's brokers to develop effective custom market research material specific to both existing and potential clients.
Lisa serves on the Colliers International Editorial Board, the Colliers International U.S. Research Council, is a Colliers Center of Excellence team member and is a recipient of the Colliers International Researcher of the Year Award.
Bringing 30 years of experience in commercial real estate, Marilynne joined Colliers in 2018 to provide financial analysis to the company’s leasing and investment sales teams for all types of assets. Prior to joining Colliers, she specialized in advising companies regarding their commercial real estate requirements or investments, including the following types of financial analysis:
· lease renewal and relocation comparisons
· mid-term lease renegotiations (“blend and extend”)
· lease buyouts
· sublease disposition/recovery
· build-to-suit to own or to lease

Marilynne also has a background in commercial mortgage underwriting/loan originations and commercial real estate appraisal.
Maya began her career with Colliers in September 2018 as a Administrative Coordinator. She later joined on as a Client Service Coordinator providing support to Marketing, Administrative and Research teams. Maya’s areas of expertise include contract/lease administration, developing and maintaining a staged marketing program for listing assignments, website development, company events, press releases, brand exposure through social media programs, proposals and agreements, tenant/buyer site tour coordination, marketing initiatives, and tracking deals.
