Professional Summary

Monica Rafferty is passionate about her clients’ success. She has more than 20 years of experience in investments and will help you to map out a strategy for using commercial real estate to achieve your business goals and increase your bottom line. She specializes in negotiating added value transactions by analyzing properties and identifying their unique opportunities.

Monica was recognized by her peers in the commercial real estate industry when she was voted CCIM of the Year in 2013 and installed as president of the Utah CCIM Chapter in 2015. Her CCIM accreditation verifies Monica’s expertise in evaluating investment and lease terms of all classes of real estate as well as structuring transactions to maximize their value. Her skills were originally honed as an investment and retirement plan specialist in the securities industry, where Monica held NASD series 7, series 6 and variable contract licenses. She graduated summa cum laude with a minor in economics and a major in English and stays on top of economic and financial trends in order to better partner with her clients in establishing their strategies.

Monica organizes a collection of socks for the homeless each year and volunteers often at organized charitable events. Professionally, Monica gives her time, energy and financial support as an active member of two charitable boards of trustees:

  • U of U Hospital Foundation: Serving the people of Utah and beyond by continually improving individual and community health and quality of life — The U of U never turns down treatment for lack of insurance.
  • Columbus Community Center: “Entrepreneurs of the Human Spirit” providing social services, vocational training and employment to individuals with disabilities.
