In 2005, I joined Colliers International | West Michigan as a marketing specialist, with experience marketing for retail, sports/entertainment, and non-profit industries. These experiences, coupled with my talent for design work, has allowed me to create daily—yet essential—marketing pieces both efficiently and effectively.
I support the office’s expansive production and marketing functions by developing the creative materials necessary to help make our advisors successful. I create a variety of print and digital documents, and also help plan and manage internal and external events. Additionally, I play a significant role in developing marketing strategies for our office.
Prior to working for Colliers, I held a position with DP Fox Sports & Entertainment, where I focused on customer service and community relations, which included involvement with the Grand Rapids Griffins and Rampage promotions and event logistics.
I also worked with the Ionia County Commission on Aging (ICCOA), creating monthly newsletters and program reports. I worked closely with a marketing group responsible for the introduction of the ICCOA’s new marketing campaign.

I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration from Northwood University, with an emphasis on marketing and management. I also graduated cum laude with an Associate of Arts degree in advertising from Northwood University.
Associate Vice President
As an investment associate with Colliers International | West Michigan, my primary focus is creating investment opportunities for my clients that outperform the existing market conditions.
I have over 15 years of experience in all aspects of real estate acquisition, development and investment sales. Much of my professional career has been spent in the corporate real estate arena where I was responsible for managing a large diverse portfolio of real estate assets. This experience gives me a skill set that is unique to West Michigan and allows me to look at real estate transactions from all angles, which is a key component to completing successful real estate transactions.
One of my areas of expertise is in real estate site-selection as well as land acquisitions and development. This includes site-selection, contract negotiation, and assisting my clients in navigating the local entitlement process as well as providing strategic market research including GIS and up to date market data.

As Associate Vice President with Colliers International, my primary focus is assisting clients in the acquisition and disposition of multifamily properties throughout the Midwest with an emphasis on West Michigan.
My specialty lies in helping our clients maximize sale proceeds during the transaction process, but my team prides ourselves on our ability to deliver data driven market knowledge and trends to our clients throughout the life cycle of a property. As a property investor myself, I am able to view each assignment through multiple lenses to achieve the best results for my clients. My client list includes small and large developers, private equity funds, family trusts, and international investors. I have sold numerous properties to first time international buyers and maintain a network of contacts that extends far beyond the Midwest.
My entire professional life has been focused on multifamily investment properties and I pride myself on delivering a hands-on, personal approach that has developed long-lasting business relationships with my clients. My team is focused on understanding our clients, their company, their long-term objectives, and being a true solutions-based adviser on their side of the table.

I seek out creative solutions to complex transactions, as shown in the successful redevelopment of the former Bosch Manufacturing facility and the sale of the Steelcase campus in Grand Rapids, Michigan. With over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate, I have earned the reputation of being one of the foremost industrial specialists in the West Michigan market.
As Executive Assistant to Duke Suwyn, Chief Executive Officer of Colliers International | West Michigan, I take pride in my interpersonal skills and ability to connect with customers and all members of management. My responsibilities include multi-project management, client liaisons and coordination of real estate closings. I provide real estate assistance with sale/lease comparable data, property tax, township zoning and regional data to clients searching for commercial property.

As a Grand Rapids native, I have a comprehensive knowledge of the local market which allows me to provide accurate and in-depth property valuation and advisory services. I am dedicated to tailoring my services to match each of my clients’ personalities, creating an engaging experience.
I enjoy assisting buyers and sellers through the many obstacles of today’s challenging real estate market. I have assisted clients through difficult financing situations, due diligence plans, valuation analysis, 1031 exchanges, and transaction closings.
Since starting at Colliers, I have been involved in multiple transactions from value-add, distressed properties to fully stabilized, long-term leased properties with over $103 million in transaction volume in the past 24 months.
I provide financial analytics generated from detailed reports to forecast the current trends and to determine a fair market value within West Michigan. Over the course of my time in commercial real estate I have gained valuable knowledge on a variety of different asset classes including multifamily, retail, mixed-use, and alternative investment properties.
I began my professional career as an analyst at Beacon Realty Group, a Grand Rapids based commercial real estate agency. With my knowledge of and experience in the commercial real estate industry, I was able to seamlessly transition to Colliers International.
