Professional Summary

I started in the commercial real estate industry 17 years ago.  I wanted to be in an environment that allowed me to succeed based on my performance, not politics or any other factors.  I’ve always had the spirit of an entrepreneur, along with a very high threshold for pain.  The world of retail has always fascinated me, not to mention growing up in a family with multi-generations of retail background allowed  me to experience this first hand.  The full spectrum, including: development, investment, property management, and leasing (both on the landlord and tenant side).  

As I became immersed in the world of shopping centers, I found I was most happy when I was adding value for others, specifically clients and team members.  There is something magical about seeing people and projects alike, living up their full potential.

The majority of my time is spent on project and portfolio work; new, soon to be, and existing.  Identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and the niche for the project/portfolio; then putting together a strategic plan for the project/portfolio and leading the right team members to execute that plan.  My job as the team leader is not only to ensure we are exceeding client expectations, but also ensuring the team members are living up to their full potential; arming them with the tools and resources that will continue to enhance their strengths.

Clients chose me over the competition because they know I will make it rain, even in times of drought.  No doesn’t mean no, it just means ask again at a better time.  They are able to leverage the knowledge and relationships I have built over the 16 years in the industry.  Some of my biggest challenges were overcome by simply seeing it as an opportunity rather than a hurdle.  On every transaction, large or small, I operate by providing a clear understanding of the issues, teeing up multiple options for the client, and providing a well thought out recommendation.       

Clients would describe me as extremely persistent, someone who honors his commitments, and solves challenges by looking at them in a different context.  Colleagues would describe me as agent 24-7, not sleeping so our clients can. 

What I love most about commercial real estate is the opportunity to be face to face with entrepreneurs, individuals and corporations who thrive on creating things.  Many of my best projects, portfolios, and success’ have been created from nothing.  The fact that anything and everything can happen at anytime gets me up before my alarm goes off, every single morning.
